What exactly is the reason that a business would prefer to get paid in a highly volatile tiny altcoin instead of Bitcoin, Xaurum, Tether, or something else?

We are living in a world where never-ending-competition is present. And, yes it is a risk to put investment on something virtual, yet there have been stories of success after some time. Bitcoin as the best example. Bitcoin is only much popular than doge but the logic of the business is almost identical. One other reason why a business would sometimes prefer to invest on highly volatile investments, is the chance to make $50 out of $1 in a day, only catch is it can go other way around, risk is always present in business, and true business owners, investors have long accepted and carried on.

*Sorry the composition of my response is somewhat jumbled. I have the idea in my head but cant put it in the best words at the moment. I will edit this post when I am able to verbalize my idea.

We did indeed use a WB build as a source but with some differences. That being said, our focus from here on out is going to be 1) marketing and 2) bringing additional benefits and features to participating in this coin. Of course - we're not going to lie about what we built this codebase from. I thought I made it clear that we decided to move past our original goal to focus on marketing and providing value for the current participants, as opposed to continue delaying trying to make the original goal work. A coin is only worth what the market says it is, regardless of what the reward is pegged to, and our participants wanted us to focus elsewhere, such as marketing the coin itself. That is not to say we won't revisit the original concept in the future, but for now, it is what it is.

At this point our goal is to bring value to the coin itself, ensuring proper rewards for miners, holders, and traders alike.

master coin developers have faced the same disparity as above
only on a TRUE RARE occurrence has any of those coins survived even a 3 or 6 month period.
and the master coin developer took the hit "or should i say HINT" and started fresh with a totally different aspect and approach!
there is a SLEUW of dead coins that started off much better then what is shown above , with several sitting on yobit at sell of 1 sat. and no buyers for very long periods of time!
and i repeat these were and are still today MASTERS of creating a UNIQUE COIN
algos, pay structure, pos , putting serious work into the project!
not a wallet builders special!
i am sorry to point these items out but obviously what i am to understand in the whole scheme of things is=
practicability and stability !
both are things not found in the last 15 pages of this thread!
i honestly hope that the dev does find a way to make this work for his coin but i also hope that the investors are fully aware of the consequences of following a dev and his choices!

When we announced our plan to peg the block reward to gold, we got people here calling the idea scammy, calling it a gimmick, saying crypto pegged to gold is a stupid idea, etc. So when our investors and team members read that and vote for us to scrap the block reward pegging in favor of a coin more favorable to miners and traders, we thought we were doing what the community wanted. Then, we do that using a very basic coin base with specs that favor miners and traders, and now people call scam for that too.

If people would prefer us to keep focusing on development of the original concept, pegging the OroCoin block reward to the price of gold, we would be willing to do that and then fork OroCoin to implement that. I just need the community to speak their mind and show our investors that it IS what they want, because it was our investors who saw the complaints here in this thread about the gold price pegging and then demanded we stop trying to focus on that.

Except for the fact that the wallet works perfectly fine and has numerous connections as we speak, with no problems.
