This wave looks strong, maybe this is the $1500 push to complete the trade pattern. If not, we'll consolidate at $1200 for a while before a new wave emerges.

After successfully predicting BTC moves in 2016 here on the forum, I have a new set of 2017 predictions that I'm using to trade the current move.

1. Rise to $1,200-$1,300 (Current move)
2. Correction to $800-$900 level and range trading for a while
3. Rise to $1,500
4. Correction to $900-$1,000 and range trading for a while
5. Continued rise to $2,000 by end of year

tldr; BTC will double this year after making a couple of moves up and down.

I think we may be due for a price correction for bitcoin. The price has stayed high around $1350 for a week or so, and the price had not broken $1400, so a drop could be coming.

The price of bitcoin is really looking positive as SEC will be once again reviewing the petition for the ETF and i really think that it is a positive sign as they are reviewing it pretty fast and i hope they will decide about it by next month and i am sure the price would see another bubble from this current valuation.

Today it is reaching ~$1400 in Bitfinex and ~$1300 in the other exchanges... It BTC keeps this movement, it is quite possible that it reaches the $2000 level at the end of the year. If the SW x BU issue is solved, maybe we can aim a higher target, maybe $2500, for instance...

Regarding the latest news of bitcoin if SEC will try to consider about the bitcoin ETF again. This was driving the bitcoin price into the new ATH.
Scalability still being the main concern on bitcoin. The scalability problem of bitcoin is just about a bomb will have exploded if there will be a fixed solution to be implemented to resolved the scalability problem.
I can say it likes a big bomb in the future.

Step 3 almost complete.

I'm doing analysis which suggests my step 4 may be skipped, the volume correlation on upswings is really forcing me to reconsider. I'm going to sell if it drops below $1,400 for any reason whatsoever as that marks the beginning of correction to $900.

I think the price of bitcoin will hit $2000 in the end of the year and most of the users are speculating the same and now its really achievable as price is moving in positive direction since long time and we may see the same trend in coming months too.

If it corrects and goes down to $800-$900   twice, it wont reach $2000 at the end of the year.  Probably it will only reach around $1500.  According to your analysis, .  I think it is too steep to reach $2000 after dropping to $1000 (2nd correction) assuming that happen in mid year. So I guess it will be around $1500 - $1600 at the end of 2017.

True. A big correction ($400 or more) will be followed by a stable period. This usually takes a month or two for the price to start breaking the walls and slowly going up. Also, if the trend remains as it it, it will take at least a month for the price to move up by another $100 (without big corrections). If any of you think it will reach $2000 in a year, check the charts and see how long it took to move from $800 to $1200 (it's just $400) and you would want it to go from $1400 to $2000 in 8 months.

Bitcoin won't fall down below $1000, maybe correction to $1100. But that is our responsibility to make it stands and not be involved make the price decline further away.  According to the last few years, bitcoin price always has significant increases in the mid-year and it isn't impossible to reach $2000 by the end of the year even though the price drop back to $900 again.

Price at $1400 is reasonable and it seems easy to achieve, this year the price was up to $1300 bitcoin for 2 times but always drop again and january ever reached under $800. But I'm sure prices will slowly rise and will not drop again.

It is a reasonable price to be at but if it goes up too fast then we will be in the same situation as we were in before when this happened.
$200 increase all at once then boom it drops $600 within the next 72 hours.
Those were times you can see on the bitcoin price watch thread and can be recognized by all the crying done at that very time when it happened. Alot of gifs and memes of a cliff diving Wild.E coyote.

Damn! I was trying to understand the market. I traded BTC for USDT ... Bought at low, sold at a bit high. And continue the cycle. I sold my btc for USDT @ 1425...thought it will go down and I will buy btc again. But NO. BTC is going o neptune. When do you guys expect btc to be fall under 1k or 1.1k ? Any idea ?

Wow, I haven't been introduced to bitcoin during the beginning of 2016 and I wasn't able to see all the predictions made but I certainly take not of this good sir. Hopefully your predictions stay true again this time and I think it would be better for me to just keep on earning and holding on to my bitcoins for the time when it goes to 2k at years end. Same as your prediction it is the starting of the second quarter of the year but the prices of bitcoin in our market between local currency/dollar increase and increase and it is almost $1500. I think before the year end it is almost $2000 or higher than. Bitcoin is a good business so that investor want to invest to get a profit. In this case ,the price of bitcoin continued to rise and become popular to our society.

At this time price is high and others want to exchanges it to other currency, but when we see/monitor it chances to increase continue is very high. When it will dump and git is easy to recover and gives much better price.

Much better to think a good than to think failure. The think you can get more profit, more confidence to earn and save a bitcoin for future.

Do you really believe that? Bitcoin has dropped below $1000 this March, that's like 5 weeks ago! Is it some kind of a magic barrier that can't be crossed?
It's not you responsibility or mine, we don't have enough money to dictate the prices and influence the market, we can only watch as it's being done for us.

Yup this just Wicked and false prediction even if lots of potential traders are seeing bitcoin investment profitable then also ,it is far beyond the expectation to see rise in btc price by that much.we could se price between 1500-2200usd till the end of the year.

Exactly. The $2000 price for bitcoin is highly achievable by the end of this year. I have seen many forums. Mostly all have agreed to this.

Actually this ain't possible since we can see how bitcoin value rises up and down, so far, we have slow growth but in return with this I guess dropping down of value is impossible. There are many people no who are really engaging theirselves to bitcoin for investment, and so I think this is not impossible to reach out for higher one.
