Here it finally is!  Dan Hardy's breakdown of Khabib vs Ferguson.  Am I the only person here who thinks this bout is more exciting than Woodley vs Thompson?  Anyway I'm betting for Ferguson here.  He's such a multidimensional fighter compared to a one trick pony like Khabib.  I can see Ferguson frustrate his opponent until Khabib goes apeshit giving him opportunities to either KO or submit him.

It is Khabib time and Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson should be the main event and why should they stack this as a co main event. Khabib has more fans than anyone else in the UFC and he is undefeated and he should be given the main event spot rather than the co main spot. They might be thinking bigger man the better and went with Woodley and Thompson which is another great fight.

What I like about when fighters faceoff is you see where their mental conditioning is at.  You sometimes also get an idea of who has the edge that can't be seen when looking at a fighter's statistical record.  Like in that video, you can see that Woodley and Thompson are trying to relax, they don't want to deal with the emotion head on but instead they try to hide it.  For me that might mean that this fight will be EXACTLY like the last fight.  Very close, no real commitment from either fighter and it could go either way.

My main card prediction for Woodley Vs Thomspson ,i am going with Woodley to win the match as i think he won the last time around.
Khabib Vs Tony, i have no clue how this match goes,my heart says Khabib but my mind says Tony will submit him on the ground,so really interested to see how this match takes place and then Mark Hunt Vs Overeem, i would go with Hunt as Overeem does have a weak chin.

It is now official that the fight against Khabib and Tony is cancelled because of medical conditions of Khabib. Really disappointed as this was the match i was looking for in a very long time and this is the third time the encounter between them is cancelled. Weight cutting is a huge issue in MMA and with no IV it is really difficult for fighters to regain their health in time for the fight and so is the reason they are doing early weigh ins and it is not about Khabib fearing Tony.

Huge respect for Tony Ferguson for wishing good luck for Khabib Nurmagomedov ,what i heard is that the doctors did not clear him to fight in this event and Dana White is blaming his team for not informing the UFC doctors before hand so that they could have saved the card,really disappointed with the scrap.

Its kinda suck. I was also disappointed for the match being cancelled. I'm also looking for this fight
and waiting for it a long time. I guess what's important is health comes first that's why they
cancelled the fight. And I think if Khabib continues with the fight, he will lose it anyway
because of weight issues. I thinking pointing fingers will begin as who is to blame for this.
I read that Tony Ferguson was offered a replacement to fight Michael Johnson but turn it down.

The fight will be unlikely to happen in the future. Khabib will move up in weight definitely because he don't want to go to other issue like this one in the future. So we will not see the fight in the future.

Yes. Khabib did mess up at a time where the UFC are looking for a marketable fighter with potential to match with Conor McGregor. Tony Ferguson now has the call for the first shot at the lightweight title fight versus Conor. Tony should be happy. There was no need for him to fight before getting his shot.

It was a good card for those who wagged  for the underdogs as all the underdogs won the fights except of Mark Hunt and i did lose almost all of the bets except for the Woodley Thompson fight and glad i could recover all my loss in the match with Woodley. It was a really close and boring fight but i scored the fight for Woodley and he won my majority decision.

Yeah.  The the event just went to the crapper the moment Khabib vs Ferguson was cancelled.  I didn't even bother watching the fight on PPV.  I might watch the replay tomorrow tho just for the sake of it.  The Vannata vs Teymur result is interesting.  I wanna see if Vannata is overrated, so definitely watching the replay of that one.
