You only lose if you didnt managed well your bitcoin. If you didnt managed well your time and effort by doing certain things. Just like in trading if you dont have the patient and effort to do a trade in a certain of time you will lose your bitcoin that way.

The sure thing that you will lose is when you sell your Bitcoin lower than what you bought it.  I do not think people lose if they sell it with profit.  I can agree that they may even have bigger profit if they hold their BTC for longer period of time, but the question is until when do they need to wait to get the maximum possible profit from their holdings.

Like investing, you should know how you could earn on it and know your limitations to the money that you want to invest should be enough. In trading also, you will be lose if you buy a currency that old and very slow swinging movement so that it will end up you to lose because its very hard to go up when its start to down.
Therefore, you will not lose if you choose wisely in every move that you make.

If you panic and then sell off your bitcoin on a cheaper price then  you will surely lose and instead of minding to sell those coins better not to do that thing and its much better to hold even more because price of bitcoin will eventually rise up again on a matter of time. By just looking at the price movement or the price entirely, will not let you know if it's expensive or not. The smartest way to determine is to understand how that price arrive at the point, and you cannot determine that if you are just guessing when you invest and when you trade.
There are relevant news that is circulating on a daily basis, take it as you daily vitamins to feed yourself with relevant information, that way you'll understand everything and your actions always has basis. You'll then buy and sell at the right time.

just posted a big meme. It will depend on a certain situation if you failed or not. I won't give any example because common sense

will do for it. I'm guessing that since you sold all your XMR you will buy again right? If not it will be a waste because it is

There is one good proposal: Don't loose as much as you can't afford. When you see that you aren't good trader and you are loosing, choose that right moment and quite from trading, if you'll continue and think that smally martingale will help and you will try to get your 100% after 70% and more loose, than you won't get profit,  you only lose. My advice is to try demo websites at first and than turn into real trading.

This is not true. We can't lose from selling because that is how we make profits. Selling is one of the essence of trading or investment and that is the only way we can make money in the market then if we don't do that then we will get 0 profit. I think we only lose if we do bad decisions with bad analytical because in that case we already know that the user is very greedy which can cause for wrong sell offs and gives bad results and also make you a loser.

Yeah, A lot of profit if we can be patience person. I bought a lot of the bela coin on 1900 satoshi and i doubing my amount in just in a month. I just convert all to the bitcoin. Glad to see more people get a lot of profit.

We do really learn from our past mistakes and as we are still newbie we do commit mistakes and we cant really deny on that. Mistakes do mold us for future decision that we would made since experience adds up and we do already know the right next move.

It's another reason that we lose if those devs will run away together with the profit they got from us who invested with their project.

That's why if we aren't aware on what's happening with the project that's the time we are going to lose.

And it's called negligence.

I do agree with these opinions. Thanks for listing them here. Getting away with your own plan is the ridiculous thing a guy can do. Stick to the plan and believe in your plan and you will be successful. Believe in yourself in one of the important factors which affects you a lot in a positive way. Try not to be panic too. Most of the people sell everything because they are too panic to keep holding their coin, especially Bitcoiners

I just bought a few yesterday and I won't be selling that ever , just gonna let it stay unless I'm in need of money and the rest it's currently invested in bitcoins , I decided that half of the money I converted I will let it stay in my btc wallet and with the other half I'll invest in some other altcoin like dash or I'll just end up buying more monero after bitcoins price reaches 1500$.

That's right what you say, it is indeed like gambling, but in trading we must be able to master
all market analysis, read the chart and it all is not easy. It took a long time to become a professional Trader.
