The reason why people do not get Bitcoin.

Money is dear to everyone and bitcoin price is highly unstable.That is the one reason why people are afraid to adopt bitcoin and those who use it either sell at slight increase of price.

We should make them hear the music, and the only way to do this, will be to increase the volume. The volume on the exchanges and the

volume of merchants and the volume of Bitcoin ATM's and the volume of information on public social media.

I also believe that we should increase the volume of all those things. But at the same time, if no one even knows what Bitcoin is, how are they going to invest? You have to know about Bitcoin to actually utilise all of those things. So I think that we also need a lot more advertising so that more and more people will learn about Bitcoin and actually invest. We don't lack on advertising, it is just the time element is very important, it's too early to achieve a massive adoption and I believe the awareness is spreading right now as evidence by the increasing adoption of people who are interested to try this revolutionary system. People will more understand it if they will try to use it and it's a basic requirement that they have a knowledge about internet.

They judge too early and that kind of mentality would not really succeed, if we could only ask most of the members here, I am sure majority of them will tell a positive stories about bitcoin and that convince me to stay here as I believe most of the people if not all who stays here are smart people.

to me the only reason is the awareness, those people who do not know about bitcoin most of the people do not know about bitcoin, i think they need good awareness about bitcoin. we can introduce bitcoin to them in a proper way and hope that they will start using bitcoin,

I have to disagree. We do not need more promotion or marketing. The Bitcoin community does not use it as cash. Most are just holding or use it very rarely. Some would like to but there is no place to spend Bitcoin. So what we need is to start using them. If i tell a friend to use this new form of money and to get on board, all he need to do is to ask me how often i us it and where and then i will have a hard time explaining why he needs it if he is not going to use it. 

Indeed it is sometimes difficult to explain why people need for everyday use bitcoin. It is much easier to explain why you should buy it as an investment. Its volatility allows you to make a profit on the differential value and for many people it will be a powerful argument to think about bitcoin.

In my work (with about 150 workers) iam the only one who is in bitcoin.

I ask a lot of people about bitcoins, 85% never heard of it and the other 15% who heard of it dont trust them.
They say it is a scam, bitcoin are only letters on the internet and so on.

But i say them everytime that in 10 years i will go on retire.

This is very similar to my situation, only I think that 95% of people at my work never heard about Bitcoin and the rest 5% probably heard of it from me. I'm not saying everything is bad though, I'm sure things are changing in the right direction,  but for now we are dancing without music for the most people around.

The true thing behind the scenario of people not preferring is very simple. Based upon the person through whom they came to know about bitcoin will be the reason whether to use bitcoin or not. As the above user everyone won't explain the good things, most will start with the bitcoin usage in fraudulent activities. Based on this lot users will hesitate to get bitcoin.

i think that people don't know about bitcoin because there is a few place that introduce bitcoin into public and people still thinking that bitcoin is just a part of internet and maybe they don't know that bitcoin can be a way for them to make money. the other reason is they don't care about bitcoin and they don't think that bitcoin is new technology that will helped them to make money.

Through out last year on cnn bitcoin was only analysis by richard quest once. BBC don't talk about bitcoin and most big publishing house don't talk about it. In our areas how many people know about bitcoin, altcoins? Individually we need to do more on how people hear about bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies. Also media houses should help do more in promoting positive side of cryptocurrencies.

One could ask why there is a lack of information. I see two reasons. 1. you do not know about Bitcoin. That is not your fault. 2. You heard about it, but do not want to check it out. That is your fault. Also there is he possibility of being misinformed, so i could understand if such a person do not want to invest. Also there are informed people that are just afraid. I guess it is ok to not invest if you do not feel comfortable.

Bitcoin is slowly becoming one of the hot commodity in the world with all the major news and financial magazines covering features about the most profitable investments in the year 2016 and with time more people will be attracted to bitcoin in the near future and with that the price of coin will increase which is awesome for all the users who are currently holding the coins.
