I second this. If people are not satisfied with the explanation from the MatchPool team they should be able to have their investment returned back as ETH.

i think if matchPool don't really scam us, the team should be able to have their investment returned back as ETH to contributors...
so the can show his good faith.

We need more information about Philip's role in matchpool. He says he is the co-founder while YonatAn states Philip was hired to make ico smart contract. Which one is it?

I don't care anymore, who should I contact, to receive a refund ? @matchpool

Yup, they really should give a refund to the people who want it.

Also, how come one single individual was able to move funds?

Wasn't it like multi-sig?

you will not get a refund... the terms are clear... I doubt they will give refunds but I am interested in buying your part for 50% of the ICO price

The CEO moved the funds not the Phillip(the developer), they are 3 people who have they keys, 2 of them are still part of the team so they were able to move the funds. And the funds were moved because they were trade for bitcoin, nothing was stolen, the move was a good step because eth price is going down now and they had to lessen the losts. Please stop fuding and wait for an official statement.

I am waiting for the facts to be revealed

me too, hopefully will get them this week. Lets also remember that eth had the same problem with the DAO, still eth is there, they have learnt their lesson. Things like this simply happen, because we are all human, right now we have to support them and stop the fud. If in the end it will come up being a scam (which I personally really doubt about that) I will be the first who will rage and find them. But until than lets wait and see the bright side the funds are still there, if they wanted to scam us the funds would be gone long time ago.And we see their faces, we know who they are, they can't simply tun away. So no worries, it is just on guy leaving the project is not big deal..

Next week ? this is some kind of joke ? I better see this made up for the community. They better hire 10 devs for this money and deliver in couple of months + recompense it for the people using physes 1.5% and then maybe, just maybe it might slide without a big fusss.

...

You, and the rest of the those commonly seen, typically over-invested ICO risk takers in this community, are, I regret to say it, greedy degenerate reckless gamblers.

There is a new, PROMISING ICO with serious potential - not least of which were Iconomi, Santiment, Lunyr, & Akasha - with an absolutely stellar marketing & professional-**seeming** international-class talent team, every SINGLE month around BitcoinTalk & sites like www.tokenmarket.net, on average. For the past 2 years now. And it shows no sign of slowing down.

So WHY do you OVERRISK like this.

Learn to hedge your bets.

Never leave it all in one basket, no matter how afraid of the (misguided) sting of FOMO regret you might feel if 'this particular one turned out to be the Game-Ender Unicorn'.

...

great conclusion. i always wonder why people don't listen.

keep in mind: over time everyone in crypto gets burned. the trick is not to loose all your funds.

I almost invested in this, but it was full before I could. It's funny, the thread said "ICO finished in 33 hours" so I figured I would check it out, it looked decently promising but when I went to see the price it was sold out. I thought it was odd because the thread said 33 hours and still does. At that point, I was glad I didn't invest. I figured they were already gone with the funds when I saw that they hadn't adjusted the thread title. Then, this post from a co-founder saying he's leaving, lol. Dodged a bullet.

Hope it works out, maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's just a hiccup. I doubt it. Just drawing from past experiences. Oh well, this is why you spread your eggs out. You win some, you lose some. Good luck everyone.

Hi Team,

Can we just have proof? Your BTC public address for instance, cause I believe the funds are now in BTC.

Cheers

Please check my post few pages ago, it is all there in the spreadsheet

Do you have a different support than this thread? FUD is already spread. Could you make an official announcement on your website for instance? GUP holders need to be reassured and the simple idea that this project could be a scam must vanish.

Nobody wants to have to go through all this thread pages to collect the pieces of information. One clear page on your website needs to written, explaining everything.

I understand the situation and your trouble. But we share the same GUP price fate.

Cheers

As I said before, we are preparing a conclusive statement to be published.
Please understand that there are two big accusations here that both of them are not true, these things takes time.
We don't like doing half a job and want everything to sorted correctly at once.

These guys raised $5,000,000 in 2 days because they know PR...
Responding to bizarre accusations from a rage-quitter comprehensively will take a few days...
They have 3 weeks to get it right before the tokens are released... people need to stop the hysteria.

And shit rags like the Coin Beagle Herald just recycle yesterday's rumors  Cheesy

Unbelievable the FUD here. 37kETH converted to 1450BTC and the other 87.5 are still in the original ICO address. clearly no scam.   bad communication is all. it is concept pre-alpha but we now need to see dev plan and roadmap
