Daily use of bitcoin?

Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?

I think that these approval times will have some sort of impact on the use of Bitcoin in daily life. But I hope that these times speed up in the near future.

I think regarding that it depends in the store as you say in the Starbucks so it depend if they will accept your payment with no confirmation or it need to have at least 2 confirmation just like other gambling site they are accepting bitcoin in an instant so it depends in the store.

I think starbucks will accept bitcoin with no confirmation because they can see it on the blockchain and they can confirm that the payment is already executed so there is nothing to worry because bitcoin doesn't have chargebacks so there is no chance for bitcoin to scam people. I already transact some of the stores here and they didn't care about the confirmation.

I can order food from home with bitcoin. I can order pizzas, coffee, hamburgers, etc from home.
It may not be practical to pay with bitcoin directly in Starbucks. Or it may not be practical to pay for fast food products with bitcoin.
But we can order these products online.

in my area we do not have the facilities to use bitcoin for shopping or trading. in fact the users of bitcoin are not as more therefore the shopkeepers are not accepting bitcoin for shopping. but still i am hopeful that a time will come when we will also be able to use bitcoin for shopping in our local area.

yeah there is many areas where is bitcoin is not acceptable for shopping but i hope in the future bitcoin will acceptable in anywhere.

When the time comes that bitcoin is known worldwide (I am saying most countries in the world), then this scenario is unavoidable. Many shops will then starts to accept bitcoin and even some businesses will start paying their employees with bitcoin. We will just have to wait whether this will happen or not, the answer lies in the future.

How would sellers know whether people living nearby are involved with Bitcoin? Unless they tell the sellers themselves, right? But why would anyone make a clean breast of it and admit using Bitcoin? You may think that no one around you even heard about Bitcoin while, in fact, the whole neighborhood may be infested with Bitcoin millionaires. In this way, until and unless merchants declare it themselves they are ready for Bitcoin ("Bitcoin accepted here"), scarcely anyone is going to ask about payments in Bitcoin, especially in small towns, where everyone knows everything about everyone else

If you don't want to admit the use of Bitcoin, you can always choose a bitcoin debit card connected to a web wallet (debit card usage depends on your country, and only store a small amonunt in web wallet, just to be on the safe side), and in this case, payments will be instant, compared to the real bitcoin payments.
But, if you want to use Bitcoin in stores, there should be something done with the time of the payment confirmation. Or, you can go to a shop, where you can have a coffee after payment, and in this case, you have spent you time with something useful too
In my country, a taxi company started to accept Bitcoin payments via QR codes, but I don't know about the details, because I live in the countryside, and the bitcoin taxis are in the capital...

If you will base the price on long term basis then you can say that the price of bitcoin is always going up and that is why many of us or many people that uses bitcoin choose to hold it for long term instead of holding for short term because in long term there is lesser risk and you can earn a lot of money in long term rather than holding it for a few weeks or even days where there is a high risk of losing money.

i think you are right that some people in gambling has always succeed, i think gambling needs some sixth-sense and some knowledge because in gambling there is always risk to money but some people easily win and didn't afraid of it about their money as they are the experts of gambling. i think everyone are not like them.

In my point of view gambling is not a good idea to use bitcoin daily. Obviously gambling is very risky, maybe for now you still got a many profit during play it, but not for a long time you will lose your money gratuitously. Gambling only profitable for owner.

In gambling only we can use Bitcoin daily because we don't have another option. And yes Gambling is not profitable for a long time. I experienced that, I waited for so long, almost a week but not in Starbucks it is paying for my job done. I think it is better to change it into fiat or into cash to less hassle and not embarrassed to the other people. Make a better way to make our life easy and comfortable. Just make it sure you have a cash if they were not accepting bitcoins. Have an alternative way to not interfere with other people.
