Well, I am confused I didn't see this. And more as @HostFat tried with Kraken and it worked for him. He was maybe lucky but I don't want to bet and trying my luck I want to be sure as I prefer to be clean and don't have any problem Another thing about Payoneer.com 5. . Prohibited use of the service Digital currency is listed in https://pubs.payoneer.com/files/tc/TermsPayoneerGlobalPaymentService.pdfEdit: I contacted them via the Chat and asked them directly, this is what they told me Me: Hello,
I am interested to use Transferwise but I have a question:
On the FAQ it is written that we can't receive money from a bank account where the transfer won't bear your name as the account holder (https://transferwise.com/help/article/2200390/creating-a-transfer/incompatible-accounts-and-currencies)
Here the FAQ is saying the opposite:
The great thing about your TransferWise Borderless Account is that you can use it just like a bank account in many cases; for sending payments to other accounts or receiving payments from your clients or employer using the bank details attached to your borderless accounts.
Yes, if you're being paid in Euros from a company in Europe, you can receive regular bank transfers into your Borderless Account.
https://transferwise.com/help/article/2811590/borderless-account/how-is-this-different-than-a-bank-account
https://transferwise.com/help/article/2811625/borderless-account/can-i-receive-wages-into-my-borderless-account
So I am confused about this and would like to know Thank you
Thanks for getting in touch! Just a moment... Eliisa: hey! my name is Eliisa Me: Hello Eliisa: Just a moment. Alright, so it's actually different. The first FAQ link you sent me is about regular transfers. Eg. you just set up a transfer from EUR to GBP, and the money is not coming from a Borderless acocunt So basically if you open up a Borderless Account, it's basically like a virtual bank account you can hold with us. You can open it in 3 currencies (EUR, GBP, USD) and receive local account details for these and let's say you need someone to pay you from the UK (in GBP) you can just provide them your local UK account details and the money will show on your GBP Borderless account, :slightly_smiling_face: Me: Ok let's say I open a brderless account EURO, Am I able to receive payment in Euros from a company? Eliisa: yes you are :slightly_smiling_face: Me: Thank you, another question: Am I able to receive payment from a company like Kraken.com which is related to Bitcoin? Eliisa: I'll need to double check that for you. Would it be alright if I send you a follow up e-mail on this? Me: I will be very happy if you can check about this yes Eliisa: Alright, not a problem! :slightly_smiling_face: Me: Thank you so much for your time. Do I need to give you my email, or you can get it from this Chat? And last question, Transferwise is a UK company or Deutch? Eliisa: ___________.com <-- is this the e-mail I can reach you on? TransferWise is a UK company Me: Yes this is the correct email Eliisa: super
So, if we want to receive for example a transfer in £ in our Transferwise account in €, we can't unless the account sender bear our name (then why not receive a transfer in £, to our account in £... it makes more sense) But there is no problem to receive a payment in € to our Transferwise account in € Am I getting this correctly? Because she said "The first FAQ link you sent me is about regular transfers" I am not sure what do they call "regular" :feeling me dumb:

Thanks for the list. I have 1 question - about taxes. Let's look at this example: If I live in Slovenia and open an account, let's say in https://www.bunq.com, should I declare the money I get in https://www.bunq.com? And now second example: Still I live in Slovenia, I'm having an account in https://www.bunq.com and I decide to withdraw money only in Italy or Austria (<1h drive). And never ever have a single operation in Slovenia. Do I still need to declare it? Anyone in similar situation? You can't use bank accounts to hide money from tax authorities, especially within the eurozone. At least not any more. New incentives have made it so tax authorities can have access to bank account information regardless of territory. See: https://www.oecd.org/tax/automatic-exchange/ and https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/tax-cooperation-control/administrative-cooperation/enhanced-administrative-cooperation-field-direct-taxation_en

It means you must declare the income you get on Bunk on your Slovenian tax forms... There's no secrecy anywhere in the European Union, and even Switzerland is cooperating these days.

This is what they sent to me this morning. So @Hostfat has been quite lucky to get incoming funds from Kraken.com without a problem. Personally, I am not going to take the risk to use it and a day receive a message to tell me my account is frozen etc. I am now going to target Sogexia and see... There is something I want to add: LeuPay is a company from SATABank. And I think everyone is able to register an account online on their website... I remember several months ago someone in this forum who did a transaction with a crypto exchange. (not sure if it was a payment out this account to make a deposit, or an incoming payment from an exchange) And there is a very low change the guy was from Malta (the country where the bank is located)

Thanks for your efforts. I thought Transferwise was quite progressive and expected them to be more open on matters such as cryptocurrency. Of course, the blame is on their banking service providers. There are better alternatives anyway but it's sad to see remnants of this hesitation in the e-banking sector even now that cryptocurrency has been gaining more and more legitimacy.

It is one of these where it is not mandatory to show your passport? I am an EU citizen so I don't need a passport. I do travel inside of Europe just with ID card.
If anyone have any details about this please help me out

zzzz Any of you guys successfully used any of the sites listed with an exchange such as Kraken, Bitstamp, etc? On the 6 pages, no one posted something
Mistertango have their own exchange (not sure how and if you can add reference numbers for outgoing transfers with it though), n26 should work with all exchanges (tested with Kraken, The Rock). I didn't test any other bank accounts after getting one with n26, they are a very reliable free solution.

Mistertango have their own exchange (not sure how and if you can add reference numbers for outgoing transfers with it though) You more than likely can't as they add their own advertising. Which means they will add their advertising after your reference number.

If you are looking to use any of this online bank because you don't want to link your bank account with your Bitcoin activity (you don't want your bank/gov know about) then you are totally wrong. At least if you are European. As you know any bank account that you open (in EU) outside your country is automatically reported within 48 h max to the administration of your country

Monese gives you a personal GB IBAN now, not shared. It's 5€ a month (and first month free), and if you don't have any money on your account, they don't charge you anything until the next time you transfer money to your account (just for that one month, not for x months you didn't use). Also the Paysera VISA issuance used to cost 3€, now it's 30€ with a 0.45€ fee per month.

Why not add in this topic paid services (in a separate list) as well? (such as Monese) Many of them are still good options. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch anyway. You pay one way or the other.

I agree, especially if it's as cheap as Monese. Not to mention some of the services are free, but they take 2€ minimum for each transaction... So Monese could be seen as a cheaper option than some of the free ones for some people. Are there any other services like that though?

Veritas http://veritascard.com/ It costs 30€ per year but the Mastercard itself is free (issued by Prepaid Financial Services). You get a dedicated IBAN with it. They accept transactions from/to Crypto exchange platforms I believe since their FAQ says: Can I load my Veritas with Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Monero, Blackcoin, litecoin or another crypto currency ?
No because Veritas is not a trading platform for Bitcoin. But you can first sell your Bitcoins on an exchange platform for euros. Then, just order a bank transfer from your exchange platform to your Veritas using your dedicated IBAN.

I think it will not work well. more for the asia region. only some countries are using bitcoin. but chances are in the future bitcoin will work well all over the world if every government apply this bitcoin system in its economy.

Doesn't say anything about that, only about receiving.

Yes of course, if you check the page "Instant cash transfer" or "Why Veritas" or the fees pages you will see it is possible to send to another user card or to a bank account. Some people may find the fee high (2.5% min. 5€) but if they accept to deal with companies related to cryptocurrencies why not I think unlike other services who have a partnership with banks (and so their regulations/laws) Veritas doesn't' deal with banks but with Prepaid Financial Services and it can be the reason if they accept payments coming/going from/to crypto exchanges...

But I wonder if an outgoing SEPA transfer is in your name or in the company's name, the same as with Viabuy.com. Have you tried?

I guess those dedicated IBAN are using your name when you make a transfer outside. Honestly I don't know. I know Viabuy as there are lot of complaints about them with their aggressive marketing method. Firstly you don't pay the card immediately, they send it to you without payment. Then you receive a letter from another company explaining ViaBuy will go to the judge if you don't pay the 90€ asap. Or when you ask them why the transfer is taking more than 10 days to be credited you are not so welcome
