Hi all,
Is anyone using spectrocoin? Are they trustable? There's a scam accusation against them and their representative VytautasK hasn't logged in for a long time.

I think its better to stay away i have also stopped using them long time ago. There are many other good alternatives to spectrocoin try them, here is list of some bitcoin debit card providers https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410577.0Cryptopay could be good alternative for you. |

Sometimes I use Spectrocoin and don't have problems. Support is really helpful and fast responding. One thing that I don't like that they can ask for account verification - you may need to send your id scan. Spectrocoin have scam accusation, but it looks similar to fake accusation.

All of them ask for ID, it is the bank not the BTC side of things which do. Plus I think all have scam accusations also, like paypal  |

Nope. Haven't used them ever since those scam accusations came out. I don't know about others but I don't trust them and
I wouldn't use them especially after reading all those accusations. Although there may still be some do, but I certainly am not one of them.
I've long ago tried out and found alternatives.

No i am not. But i ever use bitcoin about 7 or 8 months ago. That is last i use spectrocoin. I really do not think that spectrocoin will end with scam peoples. Even though if i see from promotion and developing is organized enough. |

Yeah!Question is that.I have also well much known about s.coin scam accusations.When any coin little bit touch with scam accusations then it is hardly believe to trust that service.Spectrocoin has involved closing users account without any issue,also has blocked users account ! Right now it's better to stay away this such scam accusations site.Beware ! |

Was it ever 'trustable'? This is the right question I guess  There are so many reported issues regarding from this site including of closing accounts to those have huge amount if btc in their accounts, if I were you OP don't give a try for this site, try to something trustable. Regards. |

Amount of negative press Spectrocoin received is not something we can ignore. There are multiple accusations against them. What is going on, is this: "They seem to be a selective scammers, that blocks arbitrarily customers' accounts with high balance." It is strange, how people with 4 days old accounts accuses us of scam and after authors of accusations disappear, new users are raising these issues again.
More strange is the fact, that nearly none of our clients complain about failures of our IT system or lags in loading of cards or withdrawals, because it never happens, as we try provide high quality service to our clients.
Another strange fact, that the first reply to accusation mentions our competitor which is has margin higher of 0.7% for example now to load SpectroCoin EUR card with 1 BTC you would get 847.1 EUR while mentioned competitor would only give you 840.906 EUR for 1 BTC, not to mention that our cards are cheaper by half (8 EUR vs 15 EUR), we have live support nearly all the time and a plenty of nice to have features.
PayPal also has a lot of scam accusations... (google it).
I leave it for you to judge.

This site is confiscating the customers' funds, more than hundreds, I estimate there are more victims but keep quite, I hate these scammers. Never trust this kind of site any more, you need to trust reputable exchanges. |

What the hell? 4 weeks to check 2 fucking documents??
