130w when not mining i meant, thats what idle means.. system at idle state.. Smiley

I can get 820hs @ 0.88v that's 190w from wall, where 105w is the system when it's idle. So the gpu eats 85w when under load.

That doesn't sound like a very power efficient platform, most intel 1150 boards are 30-50W from the wall when idle. What mb/cpu do you use?

Yes I know I was joking ^^
I see your system eats a lot of power ! Mine takes around 50w, my gpu consumption is the same as you.
I run h81 pro btc r2.0  the G1840 and a gold rated 1200w psu

oh,thats my home computer, i5 clocked@4.4MH , a few coolers, 2xhdd 1xssd, so i think it's all ok to consume 105w Cheesy

Unless it's an old i5 (pre- 1150), you might have power saving features disabled. Haswell and Skylake / Kaby CPUs overclock just fine with power savings on, but you gotta enable them properly in BIOS (had 4770k@4.6 and then 6700k@4.8 and in both cases the idle power consumption was pretty much identical to a non-overclocked system). It's all those "C states" that are usually disabled by default, if you enable them the board+cpu+ram shouldn't take more than 40-45W. A couple of spinners would add 15-20W at most (or even 0W if they're powered down when you don't access the files from them). Coolers' power consumption varies a lot though depending on the size and rpm.

you are right, i disabled everything that could powersave.lol i don't know why i did that, i overclocked a few years ago and it's like that since then.

Oh and it's i5-2500k known as sandy bridge.
