We can't deny that trading is also part of gambling because i know in gambling, you need to risk an amount or part of your own money to get something more and that was also applied in trading. Trading requires money and you need to risk your own money in order to earn more just like gambling sites does.
Actually with some approach to trading, it becomes quite hard to tell trading apart from gambling, but that is as far as it goes - knowledgeable and experienced traders don't gamble, the ones that do are most newbies and that is because they are yet to realize there is indeed a boundary. However with time, the university of hard knock often open their eyes to see beyond their nose.
Quote
But gambling site requires you to bet against them while trading you are just buying and selling entities which no one personally owns and sells.
I see you point there, in gambling, one is actually playing against the house and since the house does not have other means of income, there is always this suspicion that most gambling sites cook the outcome of their games. However, trading in most cases, involves traders and buyers using brokers as middlemen.
Quote
Hence when you gamble you lose while when you trade it just gives you loss or profit based on your ability and the sort of decision maker you are, take the example of Buffet the richest guy, he won't get a decision wrong.
I think the point you are trying to make there is that proper study and analysis gives high probability of getting a decision right in trading as against gambling, but that is not to say that even experienced traders don't run into wrong trading decisions one time or the other.

In gambling also our skills will help us to make money in skill games, But I too agree that compare to gambling the trading is the best choice and it is more profitable than gambling. But in trading and gambling both we need the luck to make a profit. In gambling, if we have luck then our guessing will be right, and we win the bet, In trading, if our luck is good we will not see huge fluctuating in Bitcoin price, and we will make a profit.Like this luck will help us to make money in both trading and gambling.
There are a lot of misconceptions about trading that is the reason people are doing it in the way of gambling.

When they are learning about the basics of trading and some technical analysing tool then definitely they will get clear idea how to conduct trading as per the basics of it.

When they are failing with this part, they will definitely will do trade in gambling way.

Whatever people say for me there is no big difference between trading and gambling
You could become long term bitcoin holders, since the creation of bitcoin, this revolutionized technology is gaining growing attention and the price is on the uptrend although some retreat. check here  http://coinour.com/index.php/three-kind-of-bitcoin-traders-and-their-winning-strategies/

They overlap.  You can make gambling your profession then it is less entertainment. Or without controlling fear and greed enough trading became pure gambling.

I would rather say that a distorted form of trading is known is gambling. Trading without any proper indicators or knowledge is gambling but trading in core has a completely different meaning and anyone calling trading as gambling is a noob. Because if you see guys who are the richest in the world then you would find that many of them are traders while none is a gambler.

this is a good option for people which don't want to do anything with their bitcoin, the more they saving bitcoin, the more they can gets benefit from bitcoin itself and in the future, i am sure that they will make big money when the price is reach higher price. but for the hold that only have small until medium, they only aware that sometimes bitcoin price is to go up and down too often and this could make they can not hold for a long time.

Trading and gambling has a big difference in any aspect, they just have one common thing and that is they required bitcoin/fiat for you to join it.
They just only said that trading is just gambling because you are just taking the risk specially when you a first timer. But it doesn't mean they are the same, gambling depends on luck while trading depends on your strategy and how patiently you are.

How different is trading from just gambling? I know there seems to be a  big difference with technical analysis and whatnot, but in the end aren't you just betting on something completely random?
Here is how to trade safely and trade with sure profit fisrt you need a large amount of money because the dump and pump in not that high because you should pick legit coin like litecoin, dodgecoin and etherum. In that coins you can see that all of that are legit coin and it's good to invest in that coin because your money is guarantee safe and you will earn large if your investment is large to buy low and sell high is a must to earn in legit coin. So if you want to trade not to gamble in not legit coin, you should follow my tips. Thank you
Trading is more stable that gambling . Even both has a risk , in tradint there is a higher probabilty to earn rather than gambling. And if you are looking forward to a real deal earnings, the best way is to not consider gambling anymore. Just focus on your tradings or even better try signature campagin and post to earn. In fact you can invest for your tradings if you are earning in signature campaign so no doubt you will earn better than before.

It is almost the same, though the only difference is, on Gambling you bet to win an easy price, though it is not that sure, it has risks, well gambling is all about risks. Trading is giving something to make profit, though, trading is all about profit but it still has risks, that is why it is considered gambling. Trading and Gambling has risks which is really making them so similar.

Trade has a part to gambling such as swapping technique, forwarding and options, if we just do technical analysis with a clear spot, then it's a pure trade.

Gambling in trading is to be uncertain and chancy, not the case with trading who have financial management, fundamental analysis, and even a win win solution system with money and variety of physical economy lawful in all states.

Movement volatile market allows us to benefit 100%. So if our minds are healthy, we will do the trade with good technique.

well for those who understand the trade they are placing their investment and waiting for the positive outcome, while in gambling you are staking your money with 50/50 results win or lose, while in trading you still got a good chance to lessen your loses and making your earning much bigger than double so there's a lots of differences.

I think this will really be depend on the understanding of individuals, even we emphasize several times here that trading is different in gambling others may not understand it so well, but their differences are very simple only,  trading is a kind of assets or investment which you need to analyze and to minimize the risk involved in it. while gambling is just a form of amusement type only.

Technical analysis (apart from following the trend) is a big pile of lies

But to follow a trend you don't need any analysis at all. You just look at the chart (weekly or monthly), and it is obvious where the price is going. Other than that, if you don't understand what's going on in the market, you'd better stay away from it altogether since trading there will be exactly that, i.e. gambling, and you will most likely end up with losses. Just an example here, when some folks tried to provoke or encourage the Winklevoss ETF hype across the forum and Internet at large, it was evident that there was no substance behind that endeavor, and when the price flash crashed, people who know where the Bitcoin market is going nowadays didn't let slip this opportunity to buy in and then book hefty profits. And this example has also shown how meaningless is TA in the Bitcoin market (and in other markets as well, for that matter)

I think trading is like an investment for me, trading also is no need to place a bet or what so ever jist place your investment and wait in short trading is mostly buy/sell and this needs an brain althrough trading and gambling are risky but for me trading is not

The difference of gambling is putting your money in 50/50 if it win x2 but if it lose.... Boom!! Haha but in trading you can control your money event it the altcoin dump

It is really hard to analyze the bitcoin or the crypto currency market as there are not much information regarding it and it is hard to understand how and when the price is increasing and what is the reason for the price rise.I am seeing a huge amount of push is several alt coins right now and i am not sure why that is and would like to know about it. Stock trading is not gambling but i am not certain about the crypto trading.

Trading can never be like gambling, in my opinion I treated trading as my own business, where I need to buy something that I need to sell it to my customers who'll gonna have interest to what I sell. Which is a kind of investment to me also. Wink

certainly there is a big difference between gambling with trades. I think a trade is a job that requires 80% accurate analysis, so we need a high precision. while gambling is a game that relies on luck, for me 80% of luck is needed to win a gambling game. concluded the gambling and trading are different things.

And in gambling is just lucky factor that is able to make us to gain a profit,
Not need for lessons to become a professional gambler. That's very different with trading.
