I see reference to permalinks in this thread but I can't seems to confirm if they are working? I'm trying to share a map of my local city with the community showing our available locations without them having to use geolocation. Is this feature available? How can I get a URL that shows the local city?

Can we get a response to this question please?

This will be possible with the new version of Coinmap that should come up during the following weeks.

The Git repo on GitHub seems to have been closed. Why? It's a pity...

I'd also like to know about that. Can't we pull request new sources of store locations?

Can you open a note on OpenStreetMap and post here the link to the note, please?

Yeah, seams all ok. It's interesting how there is a bunch of active forks that all failed to change the link. How/Where is the dogecoinmap? And the other hyper-active repos? Are they merge-friendly/worthy or total doge-adaptations? Hmmm, interesting Smiley

Ok, dogemap is here: http://dogecoinmap.github.io/ and lists 11 venues, still using the bitcoin favicon. Such empty. Lol Smiley

Also what happened with the venue count for bitcoin? It dropped by 40 in one day last week? I usually remove more than I add but every single one I remove was a merchant that "right now isn't able to process bitcoin" when I show up. Or never heard of bitcoin.

http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3433955408

Thanks

I did some investigations but only can tell you that I wouldn't have done it differently. My suspicion is that the node is of a weird unknown type, so it doesn't get drawn but I thought it would default to a bitcoin symbol if it doesn't know what it is.

(For some reason coinmap doesn't load at all in chrome for me right now. Firefox (iceweasel) worked though.

It's OK for me too.

I think we should search for a FLOS-alternative to coinmap.org.

It works now, and I can see it in coinmap. I'm not sure it should have taken 3 or 4 days to show up though.
Thanks for looking into it though Cheesy

Great site. All the map options are awesome! I'm surprised to actually discover some interest points nearby.

Hey all.  Dont know if anyone can help but here goes...  I added a node on OSM like so https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3473481709.  It has not appeared on coinmap.org after 5 days and the number of listing on coinmap at the bottom, 6740, has not changed in a long time either.  Is coinmap working?

When you click on the 6740 it takes you to bitcoin pulse which says it is on hiatus.  Does that mean no more for coinmap?

I'm having the same problem. Node added 3 days ago, not showing up in Coinmap, nor in Android Apps Bitcoin Finder and BitcoinMap.
I'd think the coinmap hiatus wouldn't affect the Apps, right?

This is the node on OpenStreetMap: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3566599388
Any comments and help are welcome!

Thanks

It's down for me. Just the Trezor ad shows in the lower left corner.
