I think I have addressed the issues .
I've just fixed some errors: note that OSM is case sensitive. Thank you for your time .
You're welcome! Will this add it to coinmap ?
Yes! Ciao!

I'am amazed ,I got my first enquiry for work from coinmap . What is surprising is that I have not advertised "DIGGIN4COINS" anywere else yet so this has come from this site . I have only had it on coinmap since the previous post so bitcoin is spreading in the Uk.

Hey Guys,
Tried to add Cartel Coffee here in Tucson, Arizona, USA, and it did not seem to work. I must have done something wrong. Would be good to make this a little more user friendly for non-computer geeks like myself to add. We are trying to add more and more merchants here in Tucson.
Also, if you don't have it, would be nice to have an app showing the closest Bitcoin merchants.
Thanks for making this happen! Great for the community.

http://www.osmand.netOsmAnd Seamarks & Bitcoin maps New maps are available to download World bitcoin payments and World seamarks.
In order to see all places where you could pay bitcoins in bitcoins present in Open Street Maps, you could use 'POI Layer' or 'Search POI' in category Finance. You can also use search by name in order to find all places. Since OsmAnd 1.7 : new sub category "bitcoin" is present in the category "Finance". Seamarks is POI layer of OpenSeaMaps, which later will be transformed into a special rendering map style.
Maps will be updated on the regularly schedule This works fine for me on the latest nightly build. Google Play version is still at 1.6.5

A link is always useful. In any case I found it: http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/42418489There was a mistake: OSM is case sensitive, so "Yes" and "yes" are not the same tag (the second is the right one). I fixed it and I removed the "Bitcoin=Yes" tag; I put a shorter url, I removed "addr:housename=* and I fixed the name. I also fixed a very frequent error: the "note" key used instead of the "description" one. Is the location correct? Here I see another address (Campbell Ave). See also here. I added a note: http://www.openstreetmap.org/note/105996Ciao!

Oddly total BTC venue number went down from yesterday (2845) to today (2802). Not sure how that could have happened.

I just added a location on the map (both for Bitcoin and Litecoin). An icon is showing up, but it doesn't have the crypto-currency logos on top of it.
I only get a brown pointer icon with a white hash in it.
Did I do something wrong or what does it mean?

Indeed, that's the icon. Any idea why the Bitcoin and Litecoin logos are not shown on top?

Any idea why the Bitcoin and Litecoin logos are not shown on top?
Yes: because they are generic logos. Ideally they shouldn't be present on the map: they should be replaced by more specific ones.

I have seeded the bitcoin acceptance with a few friends that own businesses ,I have left it for now to give them time to research but I will hopefully be able to add a few more soon in my area .

Probably most of them were in Russia. I noticed all of the Killfish pubs were removed.

I think that would be cool to add to map a link to the the coin promotion site where all the merchants that register at map just can go and order some cool visual stuff to surround their places. coinpromo.info is already shipping posters

Hello Stick,
Thank you for doing this.
I was trying to enter my business into the map... but not sure if it worked.
I have waited about 20 minutes.
Not appearing.
Under tags do I place on the left box option - "payment:bitcoin" , then in the right entry box type "yes"?
do I include the "=yes"
Or does this all go into the left entry box as "payment:bitcoin=yes"
appreciate the advice wholeheartedly.

@omieland:
key (left): "payment:bitcoin" value (right): "yes"
In case we could glance: please give us a link to your entry in OpenStreetMap.
Ciao!
