If the campaign is related to bitcoin, then signature campaign over here in this forum is the best as there are thousands of users who know what is bitcoin and they can join your services. While if you permote it on Social media like facebook twitter, not everyone know about bitcoin, so maybe it wont be that much effective.

It is both effective to be honest. Doing signature campaign and Social media campaign are just contributing something on the success of a project of a certain coin(the Cryptocurrencies), but in different aspects and ways. In the Social media campaign like twitter and facebook, this way, people that have no idea about Cryptocurrencies would be inform that such thing exist, since most of the people right now only knows cash, while in the signature campaign the people that they are informing are those people knows cryptocurrencies and the ones that do social media campaigns.

Can't completely agree with that. If you know quite a few people on social media who are interested in bitcoin, that could help. You could also target specific audiences on social media, like Reddit. You could probably get some kinda sponsored message at a bitcoin-related subreddit. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that a social media campaign would cost less. Depends, really.

Social media will bring more exposure in terms of advertisement of a product or thing due to the fact that there are already lots of users in the world of social media throughout the globe.

BUT the main thing here is the people's interest on that crypto related thing. If the product is all about crypto then this forum (bitcointalk) and other crypto related forum or even money making online websites are the best place to choose. No doubt that majority of people in the whole world are not interested in crypto so even it reached thousands of views it's not effective at all.

Also in the social media there are too many fake profiles and media manipulation, I don't know how they affect the campaigns, but is something to take into account(one may say "here too", but in the social media they are really professionals)

Also not few bitcoiners are isolated, because we aren't that many, compared to the total population

The thing in signature campaigns here in forum is you have the target customers and investors if you are going to run a bitcoin / alt coin business.

But it can be also the same thing in social media as long as you are going to join bitcoin / alt coin related groups or pages.

You must need to do that first and have tons of bitcoin friends. And with signature campaign, people here in forum have the same interest and you don't have to look for them.

chronobank we all know had done such massive advertising and they saw that signature campaign works better than social media marketing campaign. i think this is because crypto is such as small community that is why they focus on signature campaign and articles only.

i think both is effective to be a way for promotions and we can reach more people. signature campaign is good for promotions into the community and social media campaign can spread the info for more people in outside. beside that, with social media, we have a list of many people that come from around the world and they are really new people.

I would assume most are to lazy or not paid enough to go through all friends to check if they are real or not. Even on the forum with signature, you will get bad quality posters and people won't look twice at the signatures anyway.

BTC users also wants privacy and not subscribe to the newsletters from the developer team. Altcoin developers wants followers on the facebook and twitter because they want to update the users on these media.

Actually signature campaign is much more efficient than our estimation. Advetising here is a accurate targeting on bitcoin/altcoin investors, facebook and twitter have many fake bots, like you said, and some accounts are not bots maybe paid followers, still ineffective. I tried 200 people to retweeted mine, but got 0 result, social media campaign is wasting money.

Depend on what objective to achieve

If using sig campaign,

Advantage : Focusing and attract all people who interest on bitcoin in this forum
Disadvantage : Very narrow scope advertising ( just 1 forum )

If using social media

Advantage : it has wide scope that will attract more people world wide ( include forum ) as we already know, twitter and facebook still famous !
Disadvantage : expensive cost

I spend more than a month on this forum and during that period I went through every section of the forum and studied a almost all of the businesses and studied every rule of the forum. In my record I have found that a signature campaign is beneficial than a social media campaign. But it is compulsory that you hire an advertising manager who will give time to your advertising of your site and not a person who give all of your time to take over the forum moderation. It is recommended that you hire a person who care for effective advertising of your site. For moderation on this forum there are very intelligent moderators and they take care of the forum and whenever they feel that someone is avoiding the rules of the forum they deny them from the forum.

Both have an advantage and disadvantage. But use signature campaign on this forum is more efficient, because people here the true bitcoin/cryptocurrency market.

But there are bitcoin users too who not familiar or not get in to this forum, so using social media is good to attract such people.

In my opinion, signature campaign is more effective than social media campaign.
Using sig campaign platform, your audience is already into the crypto regime - meaning they have been using the cryptocurrency already or starting to learn the digital currency. So they are more eager to know about what you are advertising to them.
Whereas, social media campaign has advantages of reaching out to a larger community. However, very few will take the bait as either they are not knowledgeable enough or they are not keen on dealing with cryptocurrency.

Interested in crypto and have no account on this forum is just pure stupid imo, First time I needed an exchange yobit's signatures were all over the place so I clicked on one of them and created my account there even earned a few bucks in first 30 minutes .
Just check alexa rankings and see that more than a million people visit these forums daily and they need information thus going through pages and see all the sigs, if a service or company has the most advertisers better the exposure.

In twitter just try to post low quality comments or scam projects, you'll lose your followers or they wont look at your comments like before.

This forum is the mine of information for cryptocurrencies related stuff.
