signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective?

I think signature campaign is more effective than social media campaign because more bitcoin users can appreciate in bitcoin forum and they could get the right info they want here. Unlike social media, some viewers that don't know btc yet just ignore the campaigns and is only having good feedbacks from bitcoin user thats linked to social media only.

I think both of them have their own use and they can't really be compared. Like people in the forum is so different from social media. Especially if you are advertising a service or product that is centered with bitcoins or other crypocurrency. In that case the forum would be the best place to be. I don't know if social media advertisement would be ignored or not. but I can see new altcoin projects are giving equally priority to both social media and signature campaigns. and doing social media marketing on large bases. and if someone seen on a place a lot of time than it will surely get peoples attraction. same as social media campaigns.

In social media, it will depend on the type of people that will being spreaded out of the information.

If randomly distributed then it has 50/50 chance to land on those people who have an idea about crypto related thing. But there are facebook group that is crypto related and a user can add those people involved in that group and then do the social media advertising. In that way, the traffic will also passed to those persons involved in crypto world.

I think campaign here have more effect then socialnmedia campaigns. Here on forum I'm more informed then on social networks, and here I clicked on signatures many times, on social networks usually I hide all the unnecessary informations. That is my example, and I know many others who don't vlivl on any advertisements on social networks.

In my own opinion, I will go for the combination of both to complement each other. But if I am to pick my favorite, I will still go for Signature campaigns. The social media is so dispersed that some people here separates their real lives form bitcoin world which means advertising on my facebook will mean sending message to those who are not interested but Signature campaigns will do otherwise as it will be available to those population rightly interested into what one is offering...

However, have not managed any campaign at both platform but like to know, to what advantage has signature campaign taken over social media or vice versa in recent campaigns.

Signature campaign I think still is a lot better than facebook and twitter campaign there are just too few people in the social media that are willing to engage to crypto knowing that we are pretty much into anonymity. I do visit facebook for I also have an account yet none of my real friends offline knew I was into crypto. 

I remember Stellar distributes their coin through facebook but it didn't work and only thousands of fake users got it.

Which is correct they cater different audience and most of the projects really needed this two advertisement to encourage investors and also to bring attention as if those people seen this ads for sure they will be aware of the project existence.

both campaign are effective, social media campaign is effective since it reach a huge number of people around the world, signature campaign on the other hand is also effective since every post of the one bearing the signature will be a promotional tool for the signature appeared on his/her post.
social media targeted everyone even those not engage on cryptos, while signature campaign targeted those already crypto enthusiasts that were members of the forum.

To be honest I think social media campaign is more effective because almost all people in this world have social media accounts, a little bit different with sign campaign which is only forum members or bitcoiners who will see the advertisement. Social media campaign can cover non bitcoiners and may attract much more people who never heard about bitcoin. Of course it needs to have social media accounts with many real friends/followers and needs a great advertising tweets/posts with interesting hastags.

Defiantly, social media is good for reaching out more people and attracting other who never heard of bitcoin, but like you said it requires you to have a good friend base or followers base, signature campaign on the other hand does not require you to have anything you just need to post constantly and talk with others on this forum, but I guess if you need to get paid more you need to rank up your account, so they both have their pros and cons.

As for me I would prefer to choose signature campaign over social media campaign especially If the Product I am advertising is a crypto related one ! This forum has a thousands of visitors in a daily basis so If you want to promote your website/services/product I think signature campaign is a good choice !

Social media campaign is more effective when some start up try to introduce their business with the same bitcoin technology like blockchain. Innovation in a project could get more impression in social media because lots of people love to see something new.
But if you create a new altcoin and want people know your bounty, signature campaign in this forum is more effective than social media campaign.

Hello OP, I guess if the campaign is related too much in bitcoin the most effective way to advertise it is here in the forum, and tho we can see that there are  much more chance that people can see it in social media, but those who are totally bitcoin enthusiast is here, they can easily access it here and view. But most effective way of advertising in any kind of stuff or services you want to be advertised is the social media, where there are real friends and followers so it is kind of effective. But it is better if you use both.

There is difference between both type of campaigns. Signature campaign will provide the fine income but it will never spread outside the forum about bitcoins but social campaigns is best option to spread the bitcoin in the social media and due to this we can find some decent adoption.

Before I read your post, I wanted to write that the best solution is combo - combination of both types of campaigns.
After reading your post, came to my mind that it is not so simple ..
It seems to me that everything depends on the product.
We must decide if we want to reach only a litlle, but very carefully precised group of clients only on bitcointalk, or maybe we want show our product to a wider audience through social media ..
Anyway I will choose combo of both

Both methods are effective when advertising and is best to do both at the same time . But it depends on the owners budget for promotion . Signature Campaigns costs a lot compared to social media . If you want to focus mainly on spreading awareness then go for social media but Signature campaigns here is best when boosting sales cause all of your audience her is a bitcoin user  unlike in social media that everyone can certainly view tweets but if they don't have bitcoin it won't have an effect in your sales .
