What about the cost to mine 1 UBQ today, how much is it? This really depends on a lot of variables with the main one being your local electricity costs. We could, for example look at the cost of ETH rentals vs amount of UBQ received in return for x hash. You can work out an average cost per UBQ from that. That is some simple maths you could work out. You could also look at 1GPU with average of 30Mhs. Then go fishing in a pool to see how much UBQ per Day someone with 30mhs is getting then divide that by local power costs on 500W for a local fiat cost per UBQ. Then just convert to BTC. This has some issues however as China miners will be getting cheaper rates than say, US or EU Miners. It all depends on electricity costs at the end of the day. Something you will need to research locally for yourself then do some simple maths to find your answer. It will be different for everyone around the world so there is no straight forward answer. .01 per coin seems fair price with current diff!! :-D ETH price ?

miner.start(*) *= number of CPU cores miner.stop() If you'd like to GPU mine I'd suggest http://213.154.202.174:7770I got a few block there pretty easy

obvious technic to keep the hype on thread to sell off market to every noob at 30k I lost 2 day mining this coin I think If ubiq is that serious, kick these pumper from thread This is an unmodded thread, mate. If it would be modded, fagbitz would be the only poster making conversations between his own alts. The point of modding is to remove spammy posts. The downside being, censorship. so it's a tradeoff. Anyway, your post seems worded backwards. No. The point of modding is cenzorship.

Flux Difficulty Algorithm review and network recapThe version v1.5.10 hard fork activated on block 8000 with no issues. Thank you to pools, miners and users who upgraded in a timely manner. Below we can see the current difficulty curve so far and we can see 3 distinct sections. The first section represents the default Digibyte Digishield algorithm which did not fare well at all on a large network. The second section represents the Digibyte Digishield algorithm with modified parameters which was an improvement but still not good enough. Upon further inspection we also found that Digibyte Digishield was not working properly with Zcash either with very high difficulty fluctuations. With the Flux Difficulty Algorithm™ we went back to the drawing board and designed a new solution. The Flux Difficulty Algorithm is brand new code and is one of the innovations of the Ubiq network. Prior to Ubiq there have been other Ethereum forks which were attacked as they did not have an adequate difficulty algorithm which was able to dynamically adjust to hash rate. Below is the current snapshot of the network. In the screenshot we can see that blocks are moving smoothly with a block time of 88.15 seconds and hash rate of 46.8 GH/s averaged out over the last 1000 blocks. There are currently 70 peers seen on the network in various geolocations around the world. Bittrex market opening Wednesday, February 8th at 12pm PSTUbiq balances have been populated and trading will commence on Bittrex on Wednesday, February 8th at 12pm PST. The exchange wallet will be open prior with advanced notice so that you may deposit or withdraw Ubiq. We will start off with 80 confirmations for deposits for security reasons as Ubiq is a new network. Feel free to submit Ubiq as a candidate for listing on your favorite exchanges. Thank you for your support.

From slack: The most common thing I hear when meeting clients looking at blockchain tech is 'We are interested in ethereums technology but it has had too many problems, and more planned forks in the future, there is too much uncertainty for our company to risk building on it' So we intend to fill that need.
As we see, the dev's mission is to create the alternative to Ethereum for business, targeting stability and predictability, without 'civil wars' (see ETC) and experiments with unpredictable results. So, as far as I understand, they will watch other cryptos (mainly ETH, but not limited to) and use only time-proven, good decisions from there. Ethereum equals innovations, experiments, bleeding edge tech, something like testing ground for UBQ, which will become stable and reliable DAPP platform for fintech companies. That is the current vision of the project. ^ Is my understanding correct? Because if that is, then this platform has more value than ETC & other clones, bringing it closer to ETH itself. I also think that such information - the mission, the goals, the reasons of creation and what need you intend to fill - should be added to ANN and outlined, making it easier to find, to help people understand why you are different and what you want to achieve.
