Perhaps the best option for Ubiq inflation could be POS, with such reward for block and time between blocks.

You might want to read more in this post:

Monetary Policy in Ubiq - January 22, 2017, 04:36:57 PM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631210.msg17590755#msg17590755

As mentioned in the ANN thread:

In Ubiq we wanted to program in the option of staying with Proof of Work indefinitely should it prove to be viable long term.  There are many aspects we will consider in terms of viability such as overall health of the Proof of Work network, and coin distribution, but ultimately we foresee a future where Ubiq may run as a Proof of Work network forever.  With Ubiq we plan on running a Proof of Work network for a minimum of 1 year before considering and evaluating any switch to a Proof of Stake scheme.

I've only "job timeout" after stratum connection Sad

Hmm, I've tested stratum on a few pools. Works fine.

Maybe jump on Ubiq Slack and ask the #ubiq-miners channel. Smiley

Yes, the legit one is UBQ in bittrex exchange and not the one UBIQ, which was once in yobinet.Dont get confused between the two.

Someone has already solved the Ubiq puzzle? It will be interesting to see the solution. The prize for the solution is very good, but the puzzle itself is very complicated. Although otherwise could not be, the artist working with Decred will not set an easy task. It is interesting, that further it will turn out from cooperation Decred with Ubiq.

Posted on the blog: https://medium.com/the-ubiq-report/update-march-6-2017-6bfc75f63c00#.bio2rnd17

Update — March 6, 2017

Puzzle competition

Coin Artist helped us build a really hard puzzle which still hasn’t been won. Check it out and join Ubiq Slack to help solve it. The prize is a brand new MSI RX 480 4GB Gaming GPU with parts needed to build the rig.

Suite of applications built into the Fusion wallet

We are working on formulating the Ubiq 2017 Roadmap but something that will distinguish us from Ethereum and other forks is that we will bring together “best of breed” software and package it all nicely together into a Suite of applications and dApps within the Fusion wallet. This will be similar to some other wallets such as NXT.

Some things we will add to the Fusion wallet include:

  • Multisig wallet support
  • Decentralized Exchange
  • Multi-party escrow handling support

Offline wallet — Pyrus

During the coin swap process we forked the offline Ethereum wallet MyEtherWallet to Ubiq. Work on Github has formally begun to add this project to Ubiq so it will also have the capabilities of sending transactions and reading balances from the block explorer. We will be calling this offline wallet Pyrus.

First token — Qwark

The first token Qwark was launched on the Ubiq network recently. I find this a big achievement as other Ethereum based networks have had a head start on ours without any live tokens or ones with any value. We are also in active discussion with some other potential tokens to be added to the Ubiq network.

First dApp

Since many are fairly new to smart contracts, the first decentralized application (dApp) we plan to launch will be smaller in scale. Longer term we have some bigger dApp’s planned and speaking from myself, I’m interested in bringing some asset based trading to Ubiq.

Nucleus Transparency report

This will be out soon as well which will cover the coin swap and Genesis block. We have dubbed this the Nucleus of the Ubiq network.

Thank you for following along!

This is UBQ with active developers with a good reputation.

Website and Graphical Wallet are here.

https://ubiqsmart.com/

GEMBITZ is a troll... and he has been told already that UBIQ on Yobit is not the same as UBQ on Bittrex....

2 different coins from 2 different developers..

Perhaps he bought a ton of the other coins from Yobit and realized he made an error without researching it first.

UBQ is only available on Bittrex as I know of for now.  That other coin on Yobit is dead and I would not consider buying that one, but to each his own.
