Just to clarify since we had a close call there. The coin (UBIQ) on Yobit is NOT this coin. We are UBQ (ticker) and Ubiq (full name, not all caps). We are currently traded on Bittrex and Cryptopia.

Is there a good post somewhere in this thread describing the benefits/advantages UBIQ hodlers over ETH and other ETH forks? Interested, but want to know the main differentiation beyond the technical things in the OP and the "more cautious approach"

Ubiq no premine, no ico. Ubiq is the only Ethereum fork with an implemented monetary policy. This gives it the option of staying with Proof of Work. Join the slack, ask some questions, alot of people there to help answer questions.  ubiqsmart.slack.com

i see that the blocks are only generated by ubiqpool

i think the miner should consider to distribute their hashing power to other pools available

Thanks for stopping by slack and asking your question there as well. It's quite common for alts to have much more centralized mining power. In this case, that pool operator is a very trusted member of the community so there shouldn't be much to worry about. He would have to choose to be malicious with his pool's hashpower, and this is highly unlikely.

Thanks for voicing your concerns though!

I'd say a half an hours worth of confirmations would be more than enough I think Bittrex is using something like 1 hour though.
