I've also bought some UBQ's today. It's the only coin I possess together with Ethereum now.

This is a great ETH-fork and still under the radar, I'm curious how this coin will evolve.

What could be the value of this coin by the end of this year?

I was very skeptical about this coin at first, I just saw it as an ETH clone with no real purpose. It took me a while to understand what the devs are going for here.

From my understanding Ubiq isn't trying to compete directly with Ethereum, but at the same time it also is in a way as it's clearly offering an alternative.

What Ubiq lacks in innovation it makes up for in stability. I don't see Ubiq ever overtaking Ethereum in market cap, but it will instead replace ETC in achieving price Parity with ETH.

Ubiq is like Ethereums stable little brother of Ethereum, who happens to be is daring and innovative. Ubiq is like Windows 7 to Ethereums Windows 10. Except when Ethereum makes innovative upgrades, once they have been tried and tested, they can then be implemented into Ubiq without experiencing the risk of there being some unforeseen problem that ETH has to take to advance. Ethereum is like a racing car in pole position, but Ubiq follows close behind in second place, using Ethereums slipstream to its advantage.

I'm kicking myself now that I didn't get in sooner, I've been keeping an eye on this since it was sub $1... Anyways, what you guys are doing is pretty smart.
