They are actually very good quality poker chips I have a few different ones as souvenirs.  @Yakpimp should change the wording as Ubiq is not in CAPS!

Should Include 1 UBQ with them as well.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I love UBIQ but the wallet is not friendly at all, I cant understand how it works and how to receive coins and the UI is horrible and a pain in the ass to navigate. So fuck that, I'll just leave my coin on Bittrex, even if it'S less safe. Hopefully they will release a better wallet in the future.

This is the wrong attitude to have. I really hate how crypto is. If somebody is having a hard time no matter what you think, stick with him until it is solved instead of saying something shitty.

No, no, no...
You should put some effort and reserch things by yourself. Nowdays everybody comes to forum and expect others to do things for them, it doesn't work that way.
I can say that I'm using pyrus wallet and I find it very simple, friendly...Strange why you do not...

Update — July 6, 2017
Introduction

Hi all, welcome to the latest update post. Here I’ll outline highlights of some recent Ubiq updates as well as some upcoming developments.
Firstly, I wanted to clarify a Tweet I wrote which mentioned that I will start working at Bittrex full time this month (today actually). There was some confusion as I guess many new people didn’t know my personal work situation and assumed it meant I wasn’t going to be involved with Ubiq anymore which is far from true.
To elaborate, I’ve never been a “full time” developer for Ubiq and I don’t even think that’s the most appropriate way to approach things. I’ve been involved in crypto since late 2013 and have always held full time senior IT positions outside of the crypto industry. Only this year has it become feasible to work in crypto full time and by full time I mean the odds of crypto “going away” in 5 years is low, so this year marked a tipping point.
My goal with Ubiq is to create a really great “community coin” and one that aims to follow things in an open source and collaborative manner. What I want to avoid is things such as “cult of celebrity” status in crypto. This is pretty dangerous as it means a coin isn’t decentralized. If a coin’s development or direction lives and dies based on one person then that’s not a good thing.
In summary it should be seen as a “good thing” that I’m moving to working full time in the crypto industry. I’ll be able to learn more (still haven’t had a chance to get as deep as I would like into smart contracts), network more, attend events, and generally be more focused on the cryptocurrency ecosystem without the distraction of juggling a senior position in an unrelated industry.

Here was my previous arrangement:
Full time job (outside of crypto) + part time Bittrex + Ubiq
New formula:
Bittrex full time job in crypto + Ubiq

Offline wallet — Pyrus and Pyrus CX
This was announced a little under a month ago and is working great with many users daily. Along with Fusion we have the best of both worlds in regards to wallets. Fusion being our full validating node GUI and Pyrus being our offline wallet which does not require syncing.

The Ubiq team has also brought you Pyrux CX which is the Pyrus Chrome Extension available on the Chrome Web Store.
A community member has also posted a Pyrus tutorial in Chinese.
Nathan has posted some YouTube tutorial videos as well in his Ubiq Videos channel.
New tokens on the Ubiq Network
We are working with an existing coin team to bring their coin over to the Ubiq network. They have an existing app and are working on the swap roadmap which is anticipated to be announced in the next 2 weeks.
We are also in discussions with some other projects but more details will revealed when plans are more concrete.
Sparrow — Metamask fork

We are currently in the process of porting over Metamask to Ubiq and we will call it Sparrow. This is an important piece of infrastructure as it will allow us to present dApps to users in an easy to use manner via the Chrome browser. We have some dApps planned as well for the future. Stay tuned for further announcements!

Ledger hardware wallet support for Ubiq

Ledger hardware units are quite backed logged in terms of shipping (as well as some others such as Trezor) with the recent rise in popularity of cryptocurrencies. We now have a unit in hand as well as some units with community members. In this merged commit we have reserved a HD wallet path for Ubiq.
Testing and integration continues and we will announce this support hopefully in the near future.

Crypto010 Meetup in the Netherlands

Ubiq will be sponsoring drinks at the Crypto010 Meetup in the Netherlands on Friday 7 July 2017. Romano will be there to representing Ubiq and Viacoin. Come and say hi if you are in the area!

Wikipedia

Thanks to an initiative by community member Jim Hsu and contributions from others, Ubiq now has a page on Wikipedia. Check it out!

Ubiq Growth

Ubiq has been growing alongside greater crypto community as a whole and shows no signs of slowing down.

Some quick stats:
Ubiqsmart Twitter followers: 6,268
Slack users: 3,383 (Up from around 1000 in March)
The Ubiq Report followers: 198
Reddit r/Ubiq readers: 646

Appeal to the community to help us get on more services

Ubiq has no developer premine and no ICO, and yet enjoys consistent trading volume and liquidity. We appeal to the community to help Ubiq get supported by more services and exchanges. Please email any service you would like to see Ubiq on, such as Shapeshift, to show your support.

Other projects

We pride ourselves on being a great community-driven coin, and are actively working with several new developers from around the cryptocurrency community. Here are some great projects from members of our community!
Chrome Extension for Ubiq price ticker — Open Source Chrome Extension Ubiq Price ticker made by a community member @NikoPeikrishvil.
Homebrew Tap for Ubiq — For Mac users we have a Homebrew tap by community member @aldoborrero for Ubiq!
Thank you for your support!

Having a hardtime maintaining node on windows7. Peers not updating properly, meaning delayed block updates. Sometimes 3 blocks already passed before getting new block even on latest release. Once on top then delayed propagation again.
Its like:

Hello.

Just downloaded the application, and the ambiguous menu colors made be quite confused.
And a bit annoyed, so I felt I had to do something about it.

Did an example "improvement" which I personally thinks looks much better, considering it only took around 5 minutes.

Before:

After:

What do you think?

There are other stuff too, but this one took the price.*

I agree. Wallet UI is funky. I looked at it and played some. Its WTF is going on here! I was all pumped and ready to dive in. Oh well. Maybe next time.  Undecided
