2m usd is a big amount lmao if you want to earn why he don't try a legit company or in a bank it much more safer than investing it to internet where there no assurance that you can get back your money if theres an problem happens.  I trust altcoins but how if the altcoins broke up? Maybe atleast atleast 10 bitcoin is enough to gain him more experience.

There are lots of possibilities where he got that 2 million including robbing a bank or lied to us but wherever he got it, he needs to invest it. If he got it legally then he would have no problem investing it on some companies shares and stockes on Dow Jones. But if he got it somewhat illegally, its going to be a huge problem for him. And so he resorts to somewhere he can hide his identity like in crypto, not bad for someone who thinks his plan could succeed.

I think it is still depends on your balance on each investment though. But I will prefer to invest on bitcoin in gambling site because real world investment sure cant get us nowhere nowaday. Unless you have really huge balance to put on may be you can get good profit but of course there is a minimal balance to put your investment on gambling site in real world.
