You can self-study. Buy a dual language dictionary and read it very frequently. You can also use websites about languages. In that manner you can be familiar with the language.
For a beginner, start from the most simple and frequently used words and phrases. Increase difficulty from time to time. Until you became a pro.

Learnin any language in a few easy (or not that easy) steps:
1 choose a book
2 create a study plan (like "I'll spent 1 hour a day 4 times per week)
3 stick to the plan and do units one by one
4 find something to listen in your target language and put it into ur player
5 keep going through units and listen as much as possible (use checklist "I've studied today")
6 as you fell more comfortable and able to compose a simple phrase, go to lang8 or italki and find a language partner to chat with
