Basically there are only two possible reasons :
1. We still gambling because we think that we can get our money back after some loses.
2. Because we love/like to do it on spare time without worrying of losing our money.

I think the 1st one has higher percentage than the 2nd reason, maybe 90:10 or it can be even higher percentage for the 1st reason.

The reasons are correct, but the percentage is not much accurate according to me it's 70 - 30%. Yup, there are a lot of people play gambling to just have fun, not for money. Actually, gambling is a game of money, so it is normal if anyone become addicted.
