is there currently any roadmap development ongoing? hurts seeing price gets smashed on coinexchange;)

Right now, the dev is in the process of a name change and after that then the project can move forward so a roadmap and developments will hopefully come. Almost all Altcoins are getting smashed right now and staking coins are hitting hit the hardest so this was to be expected. I'm sure that once the 2 Bitcoin forks are over that the prices of Alts will start to go back up again.

I'd like to get this project sailing again - there are some big code updates needed, which may require everyone updating their wallets.

Besides checkpoints & GUI updates - what do ye landlubbers need?

Boat (BOAT) could be even better for the long term! (and is simplistic)

To my opnion that's the first priority before the coding updates...

After that, namechange campaigning can also start:
(funding = ready)
- Twitter
- Bitcoinntalk Signature

Let's set sail!

I am also for the simple and effective Boat name this is how this coin/project is identified over crypto. I also think we need to focus on a good marketing strategy too, for the start Twitter and Bitcointalk signature is ok, maybe a gleam.io giveaway will be good. Indeed let's set the sail!

Boat is a great name and a great ticker. I would drop the hard to spell Doubloon/Dubloon/Doublon/Dubbloon and have it as Boat coin (BOAT) I think most people already call it Boat, dont they? I agree with a previous poster that suggested Boats were aspirational for many people. Its an easy pun for journos too..... BOAT rides out Cryptostorm... will BOAT float?... etc
