I think the deadline is VERY SHORT for the conversion, basically we got less than 1 month to convert our old MUSIC to the ERC20 MUSIC tokens or they are lost forever. Seems that doing this most of the old coins will get lost since many forgot about this project a couple of years back.

Out of luck, I just stumbled upon this thread and found that they is a conversion going to go around. I think that people should be given more time, maybe 6 months at least for the conversion period.

All that is needed to be done, if you have Musicoin holdings, is to send your MC to Dove exchange, at https://dovewallet.com/en.
They are handling the swap. On Dec 15, any MC holdings on Dove will be matched with a new wallet containing the same number of new tokens as your MC holdings.

Seems nothing is working. I can't connect to the block explorer to get my nonce to make the transaction. And even if I connected then I wouldn't be able to connect to the node because it doesn't seem to connect to the MUSIC node on MEW to broadcast the transaction.

Anyone got any working nodes or are they all offline?

I had same situation like you on MEW, after that I tried the same thing but this time from MCrypto and there I managed to connect to the network and broadcast transaction.

I had same situation like you on MEW, after that I tried the same thing but this time from MCrypto and there I managed to connect to the network and broadcast transaction.

Basically finally managed to connect to some nodes. So will just sign a raw transaction and broadcast it like that. However since the block explorer doesn't show anything recent, I don't know why nonce so basically need to try like 50 different nonces until I finally get the correct one. No way to get MEW to work. The node is outdated and doesn't want to connect.

Also chain seems stuck, so sent some hash on to the MUSIC blockchain and finally got it running. However why is the miner reward so little? Seems like less than 1 MUSIC per block found. Was there some halving? Seems like dangerous chain because anyone can 51% attack it since there are literally no miners.

Yes, use mycrypto instead of MEW. I sent all my Musicoin holdings from my Ledger to DOVE using mycrypto.com instead of MEW and it worked fine. Now, I am just waiting for the December 15 swap to occur!

From a Ledger it might work but I just got this on a keystore file on an offline PC. It seems the only way is to actually import private key which seems risky. Anyway to create an unsigned transaction with MyCrypto which will import the gas+nonce that I later sign offline with MyCrypto? Or is it not possible

Due to the __REDICULOUSLY__ short lead time on the swap, which I only found out about by a pure fluke, I would hazard a guess that there is a small fraction of those coins that were converted. The rest of the unclaimed coins have likely (knowing the shitty tactics that the devs of this coin use) gone to the devs.

Yes I also find that the time was too short. I actually out of pure luck decided to check in on this thread back in Nov and noticed that they were going to do a ERC20 swap. In the past I maybe checked on this coin once every 3 months or so. Most people who invested in MUSIC in 2017 most likely don't browse their twitter, or medium articles.

The DEV team should immediately extend the swap - it cannot be that the time for this is set so short. Other projects here easily give a year of swap time.
