Someone has said bitcoin is of no value, in my heart I think they said is wrong, I always think that bitcoin is valuable, but I didn't understand what is the origin of the value of bitcoin, why accept more people, its value will rise? If you have other ideas, please discuss.

I ask you a question, why does gold have value? Because over time it was socially accepted that gold for n reasons had some value and when it is traded at a price that the seller wants to sell and the buyer wants to buy it is there its value. Bitcoin has this value because people believe it has value, simply that. If everyone thinks equal to who told you that he has no value, he really will not have it.

Beside Satoshi the first person accepted bitcoin and paid something of value in exchange for them essentially made the first step in giving it the value that currently it has, there are some digital data being stored and is available to the public to see and no one could change that data, so if in digital(virtual) world where everything is possible, Satoshi invented a method to make the manipulation impossible. What does that mean? it means if you store yyyyxxxyy digitally and come back after 100 years no one was able to change anything in form and order of such data and still is yyyyxxxyy and not only you can confirm that but thousands or even millions of people can confirm the validity of accuracy of your data, and since everything already been done digitally the same way only by private companies and banking systems people tried the non exclusive and open source version and that alone gave the value to bitcoin. |

Well, for those who do not know bitcoin, of course they would think that bitcoin it has no value. but, when they have gained bitcoin, and know how it works, I am sure, they will drag their words, and would say that bitcoin is worth something, even to say, bitcoin is the best on the internet. I feel, they know very little knowledge about bitcoin.

This topic was talked to death already, it is the most common question layman asks first. The most accurate answer is that bitcoin is useful.
It is global network useful to transfer money to anyone connected to the internet, normally you would pay for services like this.
Secondly Bitcoin can be uses as global database where you can store info, messages within blockchain and it will act as timestamped permanent data store.

Same discussion again and again. Bitcoin does indeed have some value. If more people adopt and accepts the usage of bitcoin the price will rise, since the demand for bitcoin will be increasing but the supply is still limited. |

If it has no value why does the people her on the bitcoin forums still believe in it and actually all use it to buy from one another. Not to mention, that we can also buy elsewhere. We can buy VPNs, services, goods etc. with our bitcoin. How can they say it has no value but it can buy things that are valuable to people. |

The value of bitcoin is in it acceptable, if bitcoin is not accepted as for exchange for goods and services, then it has no value. Just like in times past were the only means of exchange for goods and services is through batters trading. People create values on gold, silvers and stocks if it original sense it has no value. Bitcoin is increasing in values this day because of the force of demand and supply.

Forget those losers, Bitcoin is worth every penny of your dollars, it's more valuable in our time than ever and based on the current trends i forsee it climbing higher than we've ever see by the end of this year and I will be waiting for the losers to spew out their ignorance about Bitcoin not being valuable. |

Same discussion again and again. Bitcoin does indeed have some value. If more people adopt and accepts the usage of bitcoin the price will rise, since the demand for bitcoin will be increasing but the supply is still limited. i think the demand of bitcoin is not decreasing, because as time pass people are getting awareness about bitcoin and they are taking interested for investing their assets in bitcoin, therefore the demand is continuously increasing and that is the reason that the price of bitcoin is also shooting up. we can hope that the trend will continue for a long time and people will getting income from bitcoin. |

We really can't please each people and if they are saying that bitcoin doesn't have value then why we are here and keep on working with bitcoin. Just let them believe what they are saying but in ourselves we know how bitcoin works and it is really worth it to invest our money and time. If you want to know the origin of bitcoin's value try to search its history, simple as that. |

you should use your brain instead of your heart when it comes to money and value of things. bitcoin just like any other thing is worth a lot because there is demand for it. you can use bitcoin in many ways, as a currency it has lots of potential and it is giving you a lot of advantages over fiat. things such as security and speed of transaction. and also on top of that you can easily transfer money to any place in the world with the smallest amount of fee possible. your identity also can be as safe as possible (to some extent of course). and lots of other things. and when there is demand there is value. |

Maybe the one that said to you that bitcoin has no value, don't even own a bitcoin. If you believe that bitcoin has value, then good for you. I'm just starting on bitcoin as well, but base on all the threads here and other opinions of senior members and up, the value of bitcoin will rise so I try to be patience and study and learn anything about bitcoin myself. |

We're in the same boat dude, I'm always wondering before how this Bitcoin works and how it creates money. The more people will be involved the value will rise. Putting all the efforts just to have a good rank is one of the key. And as time goes by the worth of BTC will get more higher than we're expecting.  |

We're in the same boat dude, I'm always wondering before how this Bitcoin works and how it creates money. The more people will be involved the value will rise. Putting all the efforts just to have a good rank is one of the key. And as time goes by the worth of BTC will get more higher than we're expecting. You are right dude! well at first we dont know where to start and how well we just go with the flow then we can figure out it. Well you cant earn any if you are lazy and not dedicated to it thats why you earn and here in forum you need high rank to earn bigger . well low rank can earn too but too low |

If bitcoin began to be accepted a lot of people will make bitcoin market becomes active, so that it can affect the price to rise. If bitcoin has no value maybe not be profitable and prices continue to rise, wrong if there are people who say bitcoin has no value. Gold has value simply because it's gold. It doesn't have to be socially accepted as payment to have value. Gold has a lot of uses. For example, we're using it for the parts of the gadgets that we have. Gold can't always be compared to gold and then have the same reasoning. They are two different things and they would always have differences. Bitcoin is purely established by the demand and supply law. People are buying and using bitcoins so it has value. But bitcoin alone wouldn't have value since it's not some type of mineral like gold that would always have a different use except for payment methods. |
