I must ask because I believe it is not working the same way for brand new users. I mean up to ~30 activity...

Because I remember that when I had brand new account activity was growing day by day till it hits 48 if I remember good.

I can see sometimes some brand new users and they seems to make up to +30 activity in less than two weeks.

Am I right or how is it working for Brand New and Newbie users?

You can only get a max of 14 points for every two week period you've posted in. If you make 1 post in each two week period for a month you'll have 2 activity points, but if you make another 26 any other time you will get the full 28. You could make one post in each two week period for 5 fortnights and then make the rest of the posts up until 70 then you would shoot up from a Newb to become a Member straight away.

Pretty much activity is set to posts are greater than X then cap at activity

Easy, this is a Bitcoin related forum.

This if they included bitcoin might be a bit trickier to classify though a sidenote be sufficient perhaps BTC+Alt? (If the alt is tradeable)
Although the only ones that seem interesting with Bitcoin would be the top 10 by market cap perhaps still tiny though.

That said I haven't heard of any altcoin campaigns myself besides coin source that also uses BTC, and they would need good volume to compete with a Bitcoin based campaign if they were to standalone.

Technically it is the overview of bitcointalk sig and ad campaigns but would side with no to the altcoin ones unless they had sufficient trading volume to be possible alternatives if the coins were converted to BTC although I think if they don't use bitcoin in their ads they would be stuck in the alt-coin services section not listed in the general services section.

i haven't seen any. SourceCoin unfortunately doesn't have good volume on any exchange. it is traded on poloniex and was almost de-listed recently, but apparently the dev contacted them and they kept it.

If you post a lot primedice definitely seems like the most valuable campaign to invest in, because if you post 400 times a month as a hero member (if you post that much you probably already are a hero member), you can make 0.48BTC a month, which is a heck of a lot of money.

I think it's safe to say that most people interested in sig campaigns know of PrimeDice already.

And yes, it's probably the most trustworthy campaign in the forum, and if not the, one of the longest running campaigns. Also, participants from last month were just paid a total of 30 btc (distributed among 100 - 200 users).

They also have a really nice site, a massive amount gambled, and over 700,000,000 bets made so I would find it unprobable to see them being unable to pay the advertisers. They are also pretty trusted

Previously you could earn 2,4 btc/month, which was much better, and then spammers came and ruined everything.

From my experience i can assure you that you will get paid, so you dont need to worry about that.

Same reason why insurance is bad now. Some scammers abused it ruining it for the rest of us. Of course I would like the limit to be raised, but I could not see me posting that much per month.
