And they were, um, obfuscating when they claimed to be the "first" licensed US exchange.

And they were also, er, obfuscating when they let people to think that client BTC balances are insured.

And, furthermore, they were, ahem, obfuscating when they left the impression that client USD balances are insured by FDIC.

Yip welcome to the world of finance, still the Bitcoin protocol is functional so yes the facts stay the same you can only claim the Bitcoin associated with the private keys you control exclusively.

Everything else is a mirage.

not a bag holder.. sold at ~260€, bought back at 225€.. best trade iv done in a while cos i dont normally trade..

it just looks bullish to me.. its broken and stayed above the long-ish term downtrend too.. and if this is a trend reversal would it not make sense that the market start acting a little different to the usual "pump it up and dump it down further" norm..?

Well,  $400 in less than 7 days seems improbable, so it would be reasonable to bet that we will see it in at least 7 days.  More is more likely.  Still, the whole thought makes me squirm a bit.

That wouldn't make to sense to bet. Only the most die-hard permabears would insist that we will never cross $400, someday...

The more I look and think the more I feel Rick Rolled.

So I wanted to go hold a sign outside of Coinbase today that said "Rick Rolled and Won't Let It Go!".  

Turns out their new office in SF (which is in a beautiful location right across the street from the E*Trade place) is only a fucking shipping company "Earth Class Mail" that lets digital companies host their business name there.

The front doors where locked, but I saw some short haired dude about to go in the back.  I knocked and he came to the door.  I asked him if there was a company called Coinbase in the building on a upper floor.  That is when he told me no and that they host digital businesses at that location, so I thanked him and went on my way.  No reason to rick roll anyone else unnecessarily.
