Did you mean "fictional reserves"?

If you don't hold the keys then yes, fictional, fractional, make-believe, whatever, they're not coins, they're just numbers. All these coins dumped in the last few days with no significant sign on days destroyed or transaction volume... some of them are nothing more than numbers and folks will only know which when (not if, when) there's another Goxing. Move to exchanges that operate transparently if you don't want it to be you getting Goxed.

Hey so I was wondering which are transparent exchanges? Also Im from UK which seems sooo much harder to access btc. Any of these transparent exchanges based in the UK or offer faster payments for UK banks?

No one in the UK seems to be able to keep a bank account. There is Coinfloor but they're with a Polish bank so you may as well use Bitstamp or Kraken.

There are a lot of other options to buy and sell but they're not exchanges and they have sometimes ludicrous premiums. Have a look at bittybot.co.uk

yeah thanks man, I use bittylicous for general buying to hold (which is usually about 5/10/20 pounds higher than exchanges depending on time of the day) but was wondering if there was a UK based easy to use exchange where I can get into some short-term trading. Thanx for the reply yo

Not sure but will try to get a list together here:

There are those Elliot waves again on the 5-15m charts. Hopefully we've got the momentum to break resistance and get back to 250-260. Seem like we are on a "3" and up against a resistance so good probability to get to next support/resistance level on the "5"? If it were a "5" right now I'd be less optimistic. But maybe it already is a "5". See I'm a total noob with that but the more I guess wrong the more I learn.  Tongue

Notice how LTC USD price on BTCe is holding but yhe LTC/BTC is going up? As btc/usd is being tested. If you pay attention to the volume It becomes apparent

Sitarow - You seem to have some accurate understanding of how the market is currently operating. I think I'm slowly grasping what you are suggestions but still struggling a bit and want to see if I can confirm this theory. So  the price of USD/BTC is pushed higher in value by using the sale of LTC/USD. When USD/BTC hits the sufficient peak the corresponding price of BTC/LTC is low, so the funds are transferred into this commodity, which in turn once again starts the rise of LTC to BTC and LTC/USD. Then this cycle continues? Basically washing ltc/usd gains in and out of btc/usd to continuously increase holdings by having the two commodities face off against one another. Is this a near accurate grasp? And you are suggesting that you can see the patterns that start on the chinese exchanges and then finish on btce and so when btce is at the highest, the cycle is already complete and or too late to try and join the game. Rinse repeat? Thanks for any insight you can help provide.

Reminds me of bulls calling for $10k last year, only the opposite.

Most of these walls are fake. And 16k is nothing, we have seen in the past walls of 20k dissapear in 10 minutes.

I am declaring the billyjoeallen pump officially on. After my initial buy of $2,000 worth today, I will buy a minimum of 1 BTC per day for the next 100 days regardless of price going up or downor until the shorts get squeezed whichever comes first.
