Zero very soon. CLASSIC! Well, he guessed the direction right, but timing was a bit off. Price is 70% down since then, so this is more accurate prediction than someone who predicted the price to still be in 800s. |

Then again, the exact same can be said for the bitcoin detractors. Some make good points (actually, there are not that many regular posters that fall into that category), a few make half way decent points but also get it wrong a lot of times (say, Jorge), and then there's a whole lot of trolls who don't even try to make sense or have a discussion ...
Discussion? Why bother, when this thread roughly breaks down into three contingents: those who already agree with me, those who know I'm right but are too stubborn/overinvested to admit it, and finally those who, despite all the evidence to the contrary, continue insisting they're little teapots, short and stout? There are those who, like Jorge, continue to hope that Bitcoin cultists are educable. Keep in mind that he is an educator by trade--a footsoldier in a [likely doomed] assault on stupidity, IT IS HIS DUTY to continue teaching to the last breath. ...it's amusing to see the effect the bear market has on them. Not my idea of entertainment, but whatever works for you.

that's a hellllllluva looooooot of time for any sort of mass adoption to occur ...
when you have to answer the question "What is Bitcoin?" then it becomes clearer why it isn't Angry Birds or an iPhone. It's global, complex, effects multiple entrenched industries and disciplines, and is also a major financial paradigm shift. |
