Really obvious trap going on here, but still a lot of people here immediatly fall for it. It is telling about how gullible quite a few people here seem to be. One whale moves the market and BOOM: we are going over 300 dollars for sure! Soon to be followed by: last time we see 200's, to the moon!, etc.

You don't know. Price is moved by manipulators, whales and traders, but is is also moved by bitcoin businesses and individual investors. No one is able to understand this complexity and no one can predict how the price is going to move. Traders and manipulators could get burnt easily.

Gotto dip below $200 before a next bullride starts. Gonna take time in this slow market.

I always wonder if it is really one whale. I don't believe it.
I think the "whale" is a whole bunch of panic bulls joined together.

That might be true, but when dumps of 1000's and 1000's of coins happen in a shot time, then it becomes evident its a whale not dumps from many people.

I believe that small investors, let's say the ones that hold less than 500 BTC, have really little influence on the market. The upswing we saw today was very sudden, and completed in a rather short timeframe (again!), which makes me believe that it is either one party or multiple parties working together to manipulate the price upwards.

Why? It could also be an automatic stoploss hitting the target.

That's what I'm saying. It's multiple parties working together, with or without prior agreement.
I joined the pump as well, but did not made a prior agreement with anybody.
You're right that I'm a small investor, but many people like me also move the target.

That said, I think we're going to 323ish

Soon you will have to edit it again with paint, changing the 2 in a 1 Wink. The same rhetoric will undoubtedly be used on the way down for times to come.

It's probably a repost, but I've just read it for the first time.
This is the biggest news I've ever read about bitcoin.
Bitcoin as payment for taxes renders fiat totally useless finally.

Since yesterday I see some good movement.

But to be honest I am starting to not taking a care about the current price per Bit.

But yeah I know ... many of you threat the Bitcoin like an investment.

"waiting for sub xxx"
"the short squeeze"

The US Marshal's office just sell Bitcoin when they get it.

If people pay taxes in Bitcoin, then the monetary supply system needs to have Bitcoin as part of the infrastructure, otherwise the IRS will just dump Bitcoin a few months after the end of tax season.

So that's not gonna work in the short-term. Maybe when government contractor's start accepting bitcoin, then you might have a point.

it doesn't matter atm how far the acceptation level is...but it already began...isn't the upcoming new jersey regulation also something like this

and if they actually hold bitcoin for a while until they dump them it is extremely bullish short term

It's extremely bullish short and long term.
They also explicitly say bitcoin, not any other shitcoin.
I'm pretty much flabbergasted, I'm not sure if I should put the rest of my life savings into bitcoin.
Well it doesn't really matter, I only have 3% left in fiat Grin
