OMG, they just banned bitcoin in Taiwan! http://focustaiwan.tw/news/aeco/201511020025.aspx
First Russia, now this... Party's over Cry

A lot of money is created in China, so they build empty cities for example , if money ends in the hand of the people it will generate inflation,
so conclusion bitcoin absorbs capital and will never be banned in china

next big resistance is around 385 (fib level), but I still think  that we will meet heavy resistance up to 330

Don't want to brag or anything...

Mike Hearn creeps me out rather a lot. He looks like the type of guy who'd guilt trip you into the sack and then wash his winkle in your washing up and walk out without saying another word.

such a weird observation, are you female per chance? ... speaking from bad experiences with creepy guys e.g.?

(aside)

Rather funny that such an observation (which might perhaps be more likely to be a "female pov observation", though hardly necessarily so -- perceptive hetero guys and MSM come to mind) would also be a "weird observation" in here... considering dem dangling titties come out every time we go up parabolically. Not a sentiment shared by everyone in here I'm sure, but a bit of a more diverse demographic might be helpful in the long run...

(/aside)

Will be interesting to see if there will be less "dangling titties" with the next bubble. Bitcoin is growing up, maybe bitcoiners do too (don't get your hopes up though).

> bitcoin absorbs capital
Bitcoin is used by Chinese criminals to bypass capital controls & move wealth out of the country. You clearly don't understand what money is or how it works.
Let's face it, most bitcoin users are crooks (even if relatively petty, e.g. tax cheats), just a question of time before the general thieving nature of bitcoin's userbase, a few more high-profile bitcoin kidnapping cases (like the one which caused the Taiwanese ban), and every country will ban bitcoin Smiley

Prepare to sell Hearn just went nuclear on the XT FUD, Core bashing in extremis ...

https://medium.com/@octskyward/on-block-sizes-e047bc9f830#.366dmgcto

It is so obvious that government puppets want bitcoin blockchain without bitcoin.

You know, from time to time developers need to eat! Who will finance them? Bitcoin is not an amateur game anymore. Bitcoin needs dedicated professionals working full time on any serious implementation.

We should be grateful what Blockstream is doing for Core devs. This was a job originally planned for the Bitcoin Foundation but they are nearly bankrupt following Mike's and Gavin's advice to lobby and educate government. What the Bitcoin Foundation got at the end for all the efforts and money they've spent is... Bitlicense.
You are saying that developers are not eating? Blockstream devs are eating well and yet nothing has been produced for their VCs investment. It seems that Bitcoin Foundation isn't the only group of investors throwing money away. Doesn't matter though. You can tell folks to sell, but investment advice is for suckers.

Not sure if you have been under a rock but Blockstream have already released some proof-of-concept revolutionary code, albeit alpha/beta, in sidechains and lightning.

We don't need bigger blocks where we're going because we have better performing overlays already that will let the bitcoin blockchain concentrate on doing what it is good at ... security, settlement and distributed consensus without getting bogged down and bloated in payment system feature creeps, smart contract explosions and lattes for da frap.boyz.
Proof-of-concept is code for non-functional in the real world. Let me guess, all you need is to add a dash of trust, and a pinch of secrecy. Nothing to see here, folks. Everything is fine. We'll see when your VC money runs out what actually gets done by folks that keep everything open-source. You'ld be surprised that there are more than a handful of smart people in the world that could do a lot of good for Bitcoin when you stop calling them frap boyz.

Actually, I didn't listen to my own wisdom. Knowing ladyfingers would be turned back on aproximately 4:00PM yesterday, I was trying to hit the 311 short @ 313. Literally in the flash of an eye, she pulled her to 330. Had to sell some fresh stake to cover the loss >:[

Let this bitch bull to $3,000. We all know it's coming. It's so obvious.

Isn't it arses that popped up everywhere indicating double bottoms? It's time to step beyond the human-centric view, let alone the genders.

We need some of these guys to come on board.

But I really don't think either gender of any species wants to acknowledge testicles. That's just too much.
