Bitcoin so far has been adopted as a currency only by criminals and scammers.  Adoption for legitimate commerce is tiny, and largely to limited to users who want to push bitcoin for other reasons than its qualities as a payment method.  Actual use of bitcoin, in practice, still requires trusting third parties -- like Blockstream, Coinbase, Bitstamp, SatoshiLabs, etc..

(BTW, 1015 is "exa-", not "hexa-".)

Why was I so sure that this "argument" would be posted today....  You realize that the currency with the most illegal usages like money laundering, drug money, weapons etc. is the US-Dollar? Heck, if you count in the money from black labour (which is also illegal, iirc), pretty much every currency is used far more for illegal activities and scams.

Btw, your pseudo argument was/is also used for the internet... "99% of the internet traffic and 90% of websites are porn sites" In retrospect, this is actually good news! Wink

But Mota, the USD is also used to build roads and buy baby formula, while BTC? Well.. other than drugs, CP, and kidnapping/ransomware ransoms? Have I missed anything?Oh yeah, gambling. Have I mentioned CP? I guess I did...

...
Also, I dont care if people buy drugs with bitcoin...

Of course you don't, you're an account farmer, the pettiest of petty criminals. The sort of a guy who'd do anything for a nickel.

Why would Bitcoin be used to build roads? And I want to see a street built with dollars. Jokes aside: Germany, Hannover: 49 shops on coinmap, Berlin 47 shops, in southern Germany in a radius of around 50km around me: 12 shops.
And That's not even much, Italy, Switzerland, UK: https://coinmap.org/#/world/48.29050322/4.43847656/6

I know you are just a troll, but still, there you go...

Lol sure. A few facade shops *letting* people buy through BitPay (i.e. letting you play with your bit-tokens so you could brag to your buddies that bit-coin *could* buy things other than bath salts).
Even then tho, why would you bitconners use Precious to shop with, when it's so much safer and simpler to shop with fiat (which is printed out of thin air & is worthless)?

@BlackSpidy: how is it you're surprised that a forum for petty criminals approves of account farming?

For once in my life, I think I got out at the daily top.
Was sleeping and woke still dazed to see 485 and pushed the sell button.
I'll be feeling good for the next little while.

I'm starting to like these insta-profit flash "crashes". One moment, your buy order at $415 is getting filled, the next, your bitcoin are worth $430!

it has zero influence. The auction is abbout 44k coins. Thats less than the average volume of one hour on the markets.

Is there a theme park ride called "The Bitcoin" yet?

No, but there's one bitcoin-themed one called "the bear's profits". Yeah, I know it's a stupid name, but I just love this GIF and wanted an excuse to use it.

Didn't you say you bought your last BTC on Localbitcoin, @ $520?  Hmm, let's see... Yes, yes you did Smiley

wow moving higher, this dead cat really bounces

It's bounced a four times already! Stupid cat. I want it out of the way, there isnt enough space in this market for more than one animal. On other news, I jut bought some bitcoins at $520! Man, I wish there was a central-american exchange so that I didnt have to buy at such a higher price. Considering I'm currently in a place where roads are a bit of a luxury, I think I'm doing pretty well.

where do you find these deals?

Localbitcoin. I just sent this guy a moneygram order, and I'll be getting my bitcoins soon.  ...

Petty crook AND (incompetent) pathological liar Sad
P.S. what's it feel like to be down a hundred bux on coin that you haven't even got yet? Cheesy Cheesy
