I've quit smoking using nicotine patch (reduce my craving by 90%+). Worked fine for me but not with anyone that I know of. Willpower is the most important factor!  Cheesy

protip: You can cut the patch in half to make lower dose. They say you can't but they lie so you buy more total patch till the end of the treatment.

anyone else notice 56k bitcoin come off the buy orders? yet the price stays the same? i usually check the sums from 70+ yesterday it was 143,000 today its 87,000. where were these orders at?

these btc are bought and going to be sold

volume is around 6k.... thats still 50k removed from buys. yet the price trickles up? maybe nobody notices or cares

FUD- is tha the right term here?

Only way for this is if 100k bid was on $70 and moved to $140, or else if a plethora of bids over $70 all moved to <$5

after looking at that bids over time chart i think maybe you are right some single entity that controls 50kbtc buy orders pulled them, moved them down, and are slowly moving them back up. already the bids from 70+ are up to 95k from 87k. yet the bid chart doesnt show any new money.

Who would be stupid enough to put new money to gox, while he could buy at >10% lower in other exchanges?

One thing thats really weird to me is that there is almost no correlation in terms of volume between Gox and Bitstamp, at least lately. That implies that the price change that the slippage associated with the volume is small enough not to make a price change significant enough to be felt across the exchanges. Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

The only way to hide this would be if they were moved to very low prices [Because bitcoinity wont show <~$5] (Because bid $sum wasnt reduced)

In which case, why?

Interesting little rally here. This is beyond what we saw earlier when a few whales pushed the price to $145-~$149, and then the price receded quickly, asks rebounded sharply.

Its just a constant small buying pressure. And bids are looking, relatively, great.
