Sheesh, I go for a snooze expecting a decision to be made by now, and they still haven't said bupkis? But Bitcoin's slowly crept back up to $1270 while you slept. It could breach £1300 again before we find out the ETF result.

I bet you Americans reading this have got nothing done today. At least us Brits could work knowing you guys aren't at work until 2pm GMT.
I got a lot done until 2!
I ended up getting into work 45 mins late because of the action this am and since then I have only been watching charts, news feeds, and exchanges non-stop. I'm lucky I sit in front of a computer for most my work.

Sheesh, I go for a snooze expecting a decision to be made by now, and they still haven't said bupkis? Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence, who affirmed that he has heard chatter that the SEC will announce its decision between 5pm ET and 6pm ET. Phil Bak, a former New York Stock Exchange managing director and current CEO of ETF issuer ACSI Funds, said he thinks the SEC will wait until US markets close to reveal its decision. "Usually they come in during the morning, but in this case we can probably expect it after the close … I would expect it between 4:00 and 6:00 or so," he said in an email. http://www.coindesk.com/winklevoss-bitcoin-etf-decision-may-come-us-stock-market-close/

Are they waiting till after the markets close because the answer is a 'YES' ? Rejecting the ETF won't affect markets much, but approval just might cause a ripple.

A little after 4.00pm US EST time.
My bet, no info to support it whatsoever - apart from I used to live in Manhattan. I just think they will want to release it after trading hours at NYSE / NASDAQ.
35 minutes... ish.
Battle positions, Gentlemen.

Good morning Bitcoinland. I see things haven't changed much since I went back to bed... $1226USD (Bitcoinaverage). It's gone back to pretty much sideways after the crazy spikes up and down 3 hours ago. I haven't mentioned coffee in months but I think I need a cup now. This could be a long day. A good cup of coffee per day with beans from a good zone in Africa and a bit of coconut milk or almond milk will do wonders for your health! Lifespan could be increased by 40% ... Trust me its a good investment!

It just delays the inevitable

yes this is called a buying opportunity. I hope on a extreme punp to 15 k at the end of the year or a massive dump to 100 eur so that i can buy more Roll Eyes . Both not gonna happen. HODL
you can both hold, and trade from a separate non-DCA stash. making > 20% returns on that stash is phenomenal by normal standards. and today is one of those days you can expect to make a move that nets around that.
