We are heading for the 50/50% BTC market dominance over the alts... Never thought this day would come.
But after all, I think when that day come it will end up good for both parties in the long run.

Nah, ETH is literally around $500 in terms of bitcoin price/market cap And it's gotten there by just piggybacking on bitcoin. Either way bitcoin is undervalued or ETH is overvalued. Both will result in ETH getting dumped on

Cant wait for the difficulty bomb to hit ETH soon. Than its finally over with that unlimited, non scalable, non safe shit. ETH is bad.

And if anything, it should be a HUGE red flag to the alt lovers who think their special snowflake alt-du-jour is going to overtake Bitcoin. Because if they all got pumped, then they all can't be better than and universally accepted everywhere, right? Acceptance in the merchant world doesn't work like that.
Good point. Thanks for reinforcing my faith.

Mad cuz I unfolt that shit fuel token? Eth is just like Tether, a black tulip. It isnt worth shit. There isnt a max. ammount that can be mined. Its infinite, just to push its price higher with fake demand. Its just shit. Just wondering how many fake ICO's ETH can create before the pyramid crashes

Minimal spread (~$30) between Stamp and Bitfinex. Any idea what's going on there? bfx_brandon on reddit said: We're aiming to have an official, public update posted by the weekend or on Monday.¨ so I guess we can expect an announcement in the next days. He also claimed a a few days before that there is enough cash in the bank to cover every dollar on Bitfinex and every outstanding Tether. Anyone dare to speculate on what the announcement could be and its effect on the price?

That's a workable definition for 'faith'. Yes. You misunderstand. The alt coin boom has not reinforced my faith - indeed, quite the opposite. But as Torque points out, not all the snowflakes can be special. Which -- at least for the time being -- reinforces the fact that the original cryptocurrency is the mostest specialist of them all. Bitcoin FTW.

Anyone dare to speculate on what the announcement could be and its effect on the price? If I had to guess... they were able to find a bank (or more) that was willing to process their bank transfers for them. I think this was bound to happen eventually, because someone is always willing to participate when there is money to be made... and banks like money! Maybe they will have more luck with credit unions than with banks?? This news will be very bullish. You should expect new all time highs!!!

Both will result in ETH getting dumped on ETH will collapse the same way Litecoin collapsed back in 2013 just before final push that broke through 1000 dollars per Bitcoin All time high. It is very easy to change one bag for another. And unless bitcoin market share gets under 40% it will have the kind of gravitational pull to rule sentiment of entire cryptocurrency market. Thats not dissing of ETH in particular, merely observation. Long term, you might be right.

I agree with this. An ALT coin collapse is looming, because they have gone up in value way too much too fast compared to the actual value and usefulness they provide. I think the ALT coin crash will come at the same time that Bitcoin stops mooning and corrects its own value.... which will be soonish. I still expect new all time highs for Bitcoin in the coming days, but upwards of a month or more then I am not sure how long this bull run can last.

But I'm not sure about Ethereum crashing though. That stuff is loved and backed by big companies and also banks! Yeah banks love ethereum! Guess we found our bankercoin here! In terms of Bitcoin I will stay bullish as usual and hope the alts going down will be Bitcoin's fuel moving up towards $2000!
