Is just for me or this continuous rise in price feels so manipulated by finex, aren't all the prices in other exchanges keep beeing pushed because of finex fake price? I'm so confused...

When do we switch to Bits and move the decimal point over 3 places?

Careful now. That's starting to sound like bubble talk.

Quite possibly. I'd be considerably more convinced if BFX had a fork stuck in it. They're the fisting that never seems to stop giving long after you've been sewn up again.

July 2013 I bought 3.4 for $250.
$73.53 each with fees. I had to do it through Western Union money transfer. On a phone at a convenience store.

I did it at $600 because I wanted btc to reach a stable marketcap for a good investment security. I was observing btc since late 2013. Its still a great entry. Every coin under 10k is just a steal IMO

Nonsense. I've just cashed back some BTC from LTC, multiplied 4.5x. That's not a temporary gain.
Who cares whether altcoins will succeed or fail ? Not me. Just use them at your advantage.
Think about them as tools.

You seem unable to understand that altcoins can actually be a lucrative way to grow your BTC stash.
Whatever you think of them.

I started with an investor, we each bought a gpu. I told them that I would buy them out with 3 BTC, their initial investment was $250 and at the time this equated to 2 BTC. Started mining in May 2013, mining 1 BTC every 30 days. 1/3 went to power, 1/3 to me, 1/3 to them. The price tanked and I saw an excellent opportunity to buy my investor out. This is why I only bought $250 worth. Gave them 3 and pocketed the rest and started mining other coins instead of just Bitcoin. I mined Primecoin (CPU) and Gamecoin (GPU scrypt). By August I was completely in the black. Everything after that was pure profit. Arbing CENT at BTER was the ultimate gain though. The biggest mistake was not selling all my alts and converting them to BTC before it was too late and subsequently selling the BTC. I lost 80% of value by simply holding them all as they plummeted.

Enjoy the ride.
Go Bitcoin!!

This is not nonsense! The majority here trades shitcoins to increase their BTC stash! This means that this current alt bubble will pop. It's just a question of time. And then you can profit from it again. You can make money in both directions! But I guess you know that right.

Dont be this kind of guy, you are making a fool of yourself. You dont even understand what I have typed here. When you cash out smartass you move your profit x from place a to b. Meanwhile place a will decrease because its most likely a shitcoin. The gains for that coin will vanish because its temp. short term hype and fomo&whale games. I cant argue the sweet little gains with all the altcoin traders here. How they are spitting out here: guys I made ltc profits weeeeh. Nobody really cares. Invest in something that has longterm potential or sooner or later it will break you. Good luck, try altcoins more and more. Come back in about 5 years and tell me how you wasted your money because muhh unexpected trap. Beginners that are talking like they are some tradinggod since they trade for a couple of years. LONG TERM MATTERS. I dont care about short term. Its just some traders passing by and left behind. Its only the question when the long term investment will leave them behind. Please continue to play this game lad.

Did I say that? You are such a forced look at my gains guy. Idc about your short term gains. You cant even argue, or having a proper discusion with. You dont understand my message, you only talk about your gains. I dont want to waste anymore time to this kind of useless non added value talk. Have a nice day kid.

Quit it.

Traders prefer the short term. Investors prefer the long term.

This is fine. Do your thing and leave the rest to others.

$1500. I just have to touch myself here for a bit....

So how do you get over the feeling that you were a fool to mine some coins at $100, then sell them at $600 for gold last year and now they would be worth $1500? Fortunately it was only a few, but still it blows my mind.

Likewise I keep having the urge to lower my prices for mining repair. Which I shouldn't because a bitcoin is still a bitcoin but.....

Ug.
