Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Thats sad how easy they manipulate the Bitcoin price. This could be the begining of the end of BTC.

Haha, you obviously haven't seen this before  Grin

It sure is a bad thing for the BTC-economy

After the April crash this forum was filled with exactly these kind of comments.

And after November 2010, and February 2011, and June 2011, and January 2012, and August 2012...

I wish I had bought at 650 a couple of hours back, but I honestly thought that it would re-test 500 first. Bitcoin life goes on. I discovered that usually there is a second chance, when it comes to Bitcoin trading. Smiley

I felt uneasy yesterday (thought a crash was imminent), managed to cash out all my coins at an average price of $950 on Bitstamp. I think the right thing is to just sit it out for a day or two, but I'm tempted to trade this volatility.

If i would be the one who sold @650~ i would be buying back now

Really? You don't share the sentiment that this is a bull trap/bounce and that we'd go back lower again soon?

I've sold at around 700 average after buying at 610 but no, not buying now. It should go down again. I'll take a risk.

Have to check my buy orders. But i placed till 180€.
So I think I bought down till 420€. Time to sell again. Dead cat bounce. Nearly 50% profit. Love panic selling and price bouncing.

So many bulls are going to get slaughtered

Bulls make money. Bears make money . Pigs get slaughtered.
Bulls in denial get slaughtered in bulltraps. Or maybe those are called pigs, what do I know. I'm just another sheep after all.

well placed sir. I'm rather keen though on seeing action from the shoulder-making profit takers, to confirm the end of this trap
