And it figures the yanks had to do a direct rip-off of the British National Anthem for their patriotic song "My Country Tis of Thee"
I remember learning this in 4th grade after immigrating to Amerika .
I was like "hey, wtf!... these are the wrong lyrics!" when the teacher had us sing it in class after that Pledge of Allegiance nonsense.
(apologies for quoting myself)
That melody was used with a lot of different text in many countries in the 1800s and early 1900s, in Sweden as well, with a text similar to the English one, as an informal national anthem, especially for the united kingdom of Sweden Norway, over time the one in use now gained more popularity and is now the de facto national anthem.
As a fun fact, Sweden does not have a formal national anthem just a de facto one that by tradition has become an national anthem, as does Gret Britain and Finland. Bet you didn't know that.

Rattanskosin kingdom Anthem (Thailand)
Just found out that Denmark used it too, possibly the first country to use it as a national hymn.
Here's the Thai version instrumental, a bit, uneuropean, shall we say?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIluyScxaaUYes, I have nothing to do, so I found out that it is still the national anthem of Lichtenstein, a country that apparently is the last remaning sovereign monarchy of the states that formed the Holy Roman Empire. And once went to war with 80 soldiers and returned with 81. Ahh the wonders of the internet.
