I can answer that for him. Obviously here, where our Bitcoin family was created and will remain, even when Bitcoin finally becomes the global money.

In other news; down is the new up. Whats the FUD pushing the price down this time?

They each have their place.

Twitter is just fucking crazy. I love it over there. Total fucking nut-house pleb bitcoiner multimillionaire shit-posters hurling insults at each other in bear markets and exposing altcoin shills is so much fun.

Muting/Blocking thirst/simp traps.

Mocking degenerate shitcoiners.

Making Calvin Ayre question his very existence.

Telling Elon to fuck off for being a limp-wristed bitcoiner.

I'm much more "reserved" here  Grin Feels like I can come here to unwind and catch up at a more leisurely pace.

Have waaaaay more fun with my Twitter avatar than I do here, TBH.

A nice sized volume sell off for the market has me feeling a little more bullish than I was yesterday.  It's so predictable to watch all the leveraged longs pile in as soon as we start headed up, only to be liquidated shortly after.  There really are no shortcuts.  No matter how low the price is and how bullish the landscape looks, don't get greedy and start leverage trading.  It's not worth it.  You will lose your money.

EDIT: Like my new ride?

(EDIT: Honestly, on thirst thought, i was asking myself if prince Harry got so desperate for money that he secretly sold prince Andrew's car?)

Hmm, could profit from bigger balls, like a dragster, for example. Really love those vintage rims/wheels.
The term "what a lovely car" became a new meaning  Cool

Twitter, i abandoned it as an active user. It became too negtive over the years, but it may be to blame on the "social" algorithms, based on which topics/channels one is mainly interested in. For example, i don't get remembered much about Covid, while i'm still getting spammed with Covid-related content on Twitter, just because of my raised interest at the beginning of the pandemic.
Some useful information, and i agree, lots of opportunities to bash shitcoiners, if you can take all the spam.
It's way more constructive to discuss on BTCtalk, imo, which i feel is because of the limited text length of tweets. On the other hand, no walls-of-text, and even the multiposts are somehow easier to read because of the slim layout. Perfect for smartphones, while BTCtalk is comparably somewhat of a nightmare.

Twitter feels more society, vs BTCtalk feeling more like. family. Much more personal and private stuff going on around here.

31313 nice number, huh?  Cool
Where did you get that one from?

You just made it up?

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

What a world.

What a world.

~sniplet
At first I thought it was bitcoin value in CAD or AUD but then after a few hours of research I came to the conclusion that it was the postal code for the city of Hinesville, Georgia, USA (and the home of Joseph Bacon Fraser Jr.), which was crippled by the SamSam ransomware attack in February of 2018 in which the attackers demanded $56,000 in bitcoin and where just today, Huey Magoo’s - the “Filet Mignon Of Chicken” opened another franchise AND the largest free-standing restaurant with a drive-thru in Hinesville, GA!  *applause

N.B.  Each Huey Magoo’s - the “Filet Mignon Of Chicken” tender is always made all natural, with no antibiotics ever, no hormones, no steroids, and no preservatives.
also N.B.  It is not known if the city of Hinesville, GA ever paid the ransom to have the network restored by the hackers though the city appears to be functioning today.

Wow!!!!  After all that is not a random number!!!   10x more credibility to serveria.com...

There's meaning on the deep insides, and perhaps a good relocation city/country and state for "The Homer"  - Such current alien Homer with a bad northern accent might even expand his diet beyond Ramennens and Egg McMuffins, too... What else could a struggling in a slow market hat-maker want?  through it would likely be preferable to first figure out how the ransom matter had resolved, if at all, because ain't nobody got time to unwittingly stubble into some crime-ridden - hot and muggy ghetto and to end up losing all of his/her cornz (or my lil precious if you prefer, if any) because of too much spontaneity and lackenings in sufficient diligences.

Bitcoin is surging above 22K...could it be because of Sweden election results?
naaah
I don't see BTC up. It is fluctuating between 18 thousand to 22 thousand only. When BTC went down it went down from 60k and now why is it tracking so long to go up? The prices of all commodities are increasing all around and here and there BTC is only going down. Does this mean we won't get BTC back to its previous state before 2025? When BTC is 30k+ market is good and BTC will go more higher. And it can be expected that BTC will be up very soon. We just have to wait and see when the good news for BTC comes.
You sound lost xzy887.

Are you sure that you are in the right thread?
Yes I know of course I'm on the Bitcoin Tracking and Discussion thread. And I was just talking about the price of Bitcoin. Can I discuss bitcoin prices here? Since this is the topic of Bitcoin tracking and discussion, I thought I'd discuss all things Bitcoin here. So please tell me what kind of discussion can I do here?
Well, it's a good sign that you realize where you are at.. I was getting worried.. so I expressed my worry in that direction.. #nohomo

I suppose that you are practicing how to talk about bitcoin - and I was just observing how lost your analysis seems to be. If you end up getting better in the ways that you discuss your current thoughts that seem to be meandering so much, I might not hold a grudge.. Some members do get better in their various ways of making BTC price assessments, to the extent that the smaller ranges matter... or that you might even include some misleading descriptions regarding what's actually happening.. but hey.. practice, practice.. no one is topping you.. .. I am merely complaining about it.. as I already stated.
Thank you so much for making it so easy for me to understand. And I will try to talk about the current state of bitcoin from now on. But there are some people who talk negatively about bitcoin without knowing it well and create confusion in people's minds. For them we should talk about Bitcoin future.Let their understand that Bitcoin is our wealth of the next decade. And to break the misconceptions of people who are negative about Bitcoin, I tell them to gain better knowledge about Bitcoin.

I doubt that it would be helpful to limit your discussion to the present because in this thread we talk about all kinds of things related to bitcoin, so limiting yourself would probably not even be helpful - especially if you have some ideas that you would like to communicate - such as your prediction of Bitcoin's price direction or even various ways in which your life (or the lives of others) might be affected into the future...

So my recent criticisms of your content likely had more to do with how confusing they were for me.. but as long as you are genuinely attempting to improve the contents of your posts, I am likely not going to complain as much as if I would be complaining if I were to speculate that you were trying to provide misleading or disingenuine information - except in a joking context, sometimes some of us will say the opposite  and we might not even add any kind of "lol" to clarify that we were joking....  Anyhow, ultimately, don't let my complaining about your contents interfere with your attempts to present information or to ask questions or whatever it was that you were doing.. in other words.. as you were, soldier.

And, don't get me wrong... You don't even need to be "on team bitcoin" to participate in this thread, yet it seems to me that some kinds of information is more controversial than other information, and if you present controversial information without backing up such controversial information, then you are likely to receive some amount of backlash about such presented controversial information  - and even sometimes, some of us will question any of the rah rah rah bitcoin information, even though such rah rah rah bitcoin information is likely to get more of a pass than the information that denigrates bitcoin without at least attempting to back it up... and you seem to recognize those kinds of dynamics, and for sure, you likely recognize that there is no need for agreement in this thread either.. ...

Thanks for acknowledging.. You are such a sweetie sometimes Arrie fairy...

I hate to bum-rush the answer (me, me, me), but just to clarify that the last candle has not yet closed, so the since the chart is structured on a calendar year basis (which is somewhat arbitrary, #justsaying) the last candle is ONLY a little more than 8 months old, so far.
Yearly candles.

Source
If I'm not mistaken, the last candle is not a yearly candle...
You didn't make a mistake. You are right. The year is not ended yet. Still, three and half months to go. So, there is no point in entering the closing price for 2022. Open, Low (should be "Lowest so far"), High (Should be "Highest so far") and kind of acceptable.

I don't think so that the last candle is not correct.

You didn't see the date mentioned above. Means it started the year from 12sep and end it on 12sep every year. And take start from 2011 not from 2010.

So I think the last candle is correct.

Are you willfully blind ThemePen (or just blind by accident)

You can look at the opening and closing BTC prices that are listed for each of the years, and you can and see that each of the candles between 2011 and 2021 are based the calendar year, and the last candle starts from January 2022 (not from September 2021).

Edit:
I see that in subsequent posts you "kind of" acknowledged the point that the candles are 12 months except the last candle is not 12 months, but you still have some kind of difficulties admitting that your first couple of descriptions were filled with wrong assumptions.. It should be easy enough to verify that the last candle is 8.5 months and the other candles were 12 months, but you wanted to continue to assert that you were right because the chart said.. blah blah blah.. and you misread the chart but still it's the chart's fault, no?

Really, I am not trying to pick on you, but you are providing ammunition.. and I am weak, weak, weak.. I cannot help my lil selfie.  You suck.   Tongue Tongue

[edited out]
Some time ago, I was severely chastised by @JJG for daring to cherry-pick the timing for bitcoin's open/close values; a lesson I have not forgotten.  Be prepared to answer some hard questions and perhaps receive a bat-slappening.  You might get some lenience if you're Ethiopian or Eritrean since Enkutatash (their New Year) is Sept 11th but I wouldn't count on it.
 Good luck!

Now I am starting to feel baaaaaaad...  Cry Cry Cry Cry

and predictable too..

I suck.
