Please calm. Bitcoin will break the speculations of many parties one day. From $20k it has now dropped to $18.7k traded.

Oh gawd.. not you too..    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I recognize that you are probably not referring to me specifically, even though you had an @JJG in your earlier post.. but I should respond to clarify anyhow by saying that you should already somewhat realize my system, and I have posted regarding some of my deviations from my system without trying to give too many details.. but still you likely have some ideas about how I have been rolling with these matters, unless you are worried about my having had not sold enough? and worried about my having had bought too many at too high of prices?

Genuine recommendation overall or gloating or trolling?

You likely already realize that if you transition into a tone that appears to be cheering down, then you are likely going to get some backlash from some of us folks.. whether we are frustrated or not.. but even if I am not personally frustrated, I am still likely going to get mad for the mere sake of it for anyone who seems to be cheering for down.. or even seems to be cheering that down has happened.

Absolutely not cheering for down, brother. I am still majorly bitcoin invested, net worth wise. Probably something like 90% bitcoin, if we want to calculate real estate, stocks, bonds & stuff. I’m just saying what I see it though, it looks like down before up.

OK maybe I’ll secretly enjoy buying cheap coins but it doesn’t change how I think this will play out. The world economy is a mess, we’re going into a deep recession. Everything is going to tank but this is where us smart dudes prosper where idiots fall.

Lower lows, crab market with slight uppity until we hit the halving at $40,000 or something. Bull run starts & we’re well into 6 figures (USD) by end of 2025.

Bitcoin has nothing to do with "souls."
Altcoins have nothing to do with "sin."

This framing does nothing to help Bitcoin's adoption.

Dan Held

I don't know... we'd better consult Bitcoin Jesus, Bitcoin Judas, the V God and the Crypto Evangelist on this matter or was he talking about the trigonometric function commonly written as sin?  Come on Dan, it's time to take a step back and ask yourself, "What would Satoshi do?"

Before I really get off in the weeds, is there any context for his tweet?  I don't recall anyone trying to frame Bitcoin or altcoins as anything other than "bubble" or "scam" but then, I'm not a CEO of bitcoin adoption and or promotion.

Bearish as this may sound, I believe that's exactly how it's going to play out.

We experienced a decline up to 18 thousand 500 dollars. Now, after a slight fake rise, there is a high probability that we can start the journey towards the 17 thousand band again. In any case, we need to test the 17 thousand 300 band in the near future. After that, bitcoin will undergo a little more accumulation process and decide on a direction.

Bitcoin has not only given us many up and downs this year but also some unimaginable downs. Which has caused a lot of loss to our traders brothers. At the beginning of this year, Bitcoin was around $40,000+, but it has been trading up and down between $17,000 and $21,000. It is not yet clear what will happen to Bitcoin. But I think bitcoin will reach many more heights in the future which will gain the maximum height and it will come back as a trusted and strong coin.Because Bitcoin has been legalized in many countries and it can be expected that in the future paper money will rise and all countries will complete transactions with cryptocurrency coins. So it goes without saying that Bitcoin will never go down completely.

Dan Held

Dan Held has a right to his own opinion, but if we are looking into shitcoins, we are likely to see that a lot of them have ambitions to print their own money and to be obscure about it, so that is pretty damned well in the territory of sin, even though I try NOT to be too much into stopping people from doing whatever the fuck they like, but I am not going to necessarily agree that they are doing honorable things just because their shitcoins happen to have some benefits that go above and beyond their (sinful) money printing practices.

Regarding the souls aspects, I am not sure about the reference exactly.  Bitcoin seems to be attempting to create a standard that gives no shits about morality and all of that, so in some sense the neutrality in regards to morality becomes a kind of moral thing because it seems to be way more fair than other systems.. so yeah.. sure, maybe it is not about souls, but surely it does seem to allow equal access to all souls whether good, bad or otherwise.

Why am I even writing about shitcoins at this point in time?   Fuck shitcoins.

For sure, it does not hurt anything for you to outline your views, whether agreeable or not, and I am surely going to grumble in various ways from time to time about phraseology and especially when it comes to proclamations about going down before up.. even if I might agree with aspects of your debbie downer proclamations...

It seems that sometimes the bitcoiners will go along with the shitcoiners framework for the shitcoiners to act like they are not doing anything wrong blah blah blah... and then the bitcoiners are agreeing with such nonsense..

Sure, it may well be true that shitcoiners are not doing anything wrong, but I am not going to give them any benefits of the doubt in that direction.. and if we are specifically going to give any kind of free pass to something like ethereum that seems like a shitshow and a half for the totality of its history, and frequently very smart folks try to act like they know what the fuck is happening with ethereum and to suggest that it has a fair investment thesis when we still hardly have any clue about the number of coins and also how big was the pre-mine and who has those coins... fuck ethereum and all other shitcoins in terms of their trying to act as if their ongoing bullshit, shenanigans, drama and purposeful confusion is morally equal to my lil precious.

One day some nerds from the 3-year future are going to read this post and wonder why the hell they didn't buy BTC when it was so cheap.
