There is a risk that if too many miners go offline block creation may stall.

Honeybadger will adjust?

Now we got a price where I really start to worry and think about to sell with a loss of 75%  Cry At least I would have 25% more than in a few months when the downtrend continues. Two digits are close and it seems like there is no interest in BTC anymore. I said I will sink with the ship but seriously, that would be a huge loss for me.

75% loss may as well be 100%

There is a risk that if too many miners go offline block creation may stall.

The bitcoin source code has a max difficulty adjustment up or down of 4x from previous difficulty.

At most the effects would be short lived.

The reality is those with older hardware may soon retire the use of them and be unable to afford the next generation due to costs.
However many people that are choosing to enter the project may offset the issue.

There should be mutual funds. I'm a terrible trader, too. Financial freedom is hard

Jesus Fucking Christ indeed.

We are now seeing satanic bullards acting with brute force. This is what happens when you ban every bear in sight on this thread, just because you cannot deal with the negativity. You start to think that every Red snake on Bitstamp is a market manipulation and that the price will recover. You start living in this bubble of hope, day dreaming about Maserati's and Villa's in Costa Rica. Oh, well, you done fucked up, son!

Also, never, NEVER should a bulltard be a friend with a bear and on top of that live in the same apartment. Things could escalate pretty quickly.

Like i said before, just wait another week and you will see this...

But blocks are still being added briskly (4 blocks in last 10 min) which is good but weird.  Huh

I spoke too soon. Last block took 47 min. Undecided

Meanwhile Ulbricht's trial is going one and no one seems to care.

For me it is more important than we returning to same level we were more or less 1 year ago

That's the interesting part that I don't understand.  What is going on with xrp in all this. From stephanlau's 2 point above it doesn't sound good:

Where do you see this? Is this really slow AKA bad? Hashrate still looks OK? I dont see how it would be economical for huge farms to shut down right now, too much introductory costs...
