McDonalds accepting Bitcoin? lol

From the way they are laughing, it doesn't look like it. Bitcoin was never funny. The only crypto that can create similar reactions would be Dogecoin, but the whole adoption would be unsuccessful, because people in general barely know how to use smartphones and on top of that i'm pretty sure that McDonalds wouldn't advise random people to buy extremely volatile digital currencies just for a fun moment.

Edit: It looks like in the past they accepted monopoly money http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/921604/mcdonalds-accepting-monopoly-money-one-day-only
So there you go. It has to be some stupid shit that normal people could come with and pay for the products.

credit card and cash are not fun, but they accept it. If BTC looks like serious payment method they won't avoid adding it because it is not fun

it really is an interesting approach. It shifts the curve by pi/2, and normalises (by A) creating a normalised even function.

Sorry, I could not get beyond that.  However,  I found a formula (attributed to Euler) for sin(x) as an infinite product

sin(\pi z) = \pi z \prod_{n=1}^\oo (1 - \frac{z^2}{n^2})

It looks similar enough to your function shifted and scaled as before

f(\pi (z + 1/2)) = A g(z)

where z = x/\pi - 1/2,

A = \prod_{m=1}^\oo \frac{(4m-1)^2}{4m(4m-2)}

and

g(z) = \prod_{m=1}^\oo (1 - \frac{4z^2}{(4m-1)^2})

Maybe you can get some inspiration out of it...

heh he was the original instigator way back ...

btw

f(z) f(-z) = (sin z) / z

Cash is not fun ? What ? Even though Bitcoin has some big advantages over it, i still love the smell of my cash. I take the cash out of my pocket and pay faster than with bitcoin. I love the feeling of cash.

When i have internet money and lose 50% of them, it's like a fucking DREAM. It's like it didn't even happened. I don't feel this way with my cash. When i lose physical cash, i start to suffer. I'm thinking more about it and where things went wrong.

Also, what's wrong with credit cards ? Why are they not fun ? You swipe the stupid thing, enter your pin and there goes the payment. If you want to pay on the internet, you just use an extension like Lastpass and enable autofill forms for the credit card details and purchase in seconds. Anyways, you took what i wrote out of context. Do you really think that those people acted that way because they saw bitcoin as a form of payment ? Please...

I'm never shorting so it may go to the moon. I wish everyone the best of luck of course.
It is just I do not see this rally go on forever. Hope we broke the bear trend though.

LOL.
Yeah why not. Could be true. People in the video are laughing because the price for a meal is 0.025 BTC for example.

Wall Street: "Fuck yeah! Who do you think you're asking for permission?"
