I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people in here are not very good at guessing the future.
Everyone expecting to go down so instead we're going up now. I hope my decision to go long at 268 was the right move. Do you have the chart upside down? lol  I like to gamble  |

I can't help but question the mentality of people who are selling under $300. Essentially BTC just got an official approval from US. Kinda hard to claim that an asset is a ponzi or a pyramid when it's licensed, trading in NY, and backed by NY stock exchange  I hope this is a joke |

It seems I don't have the nerve to sell and hope it drops. Do you keep to a trading strategy? or listen to your guts?
For now I'm trading the Four Punch Pattern. *** Of course it drops after I close my short. Oh well, a small profit is better than none. Still 90% fiat though. Got plenty of dry powder. What, you mean you closed your short after convincing me to re-open some around $277  Your are in good shape then Time will tell, I dont hold them too long, but I dont see this shooting off into the stratosphere in the nest 24 hours. Too many people bought the pump and are waiting to sell. |

A lot of people are trying to get out after the pump. So I think there will be a lot of resistance on the way up.
I'm staying in USD for now.
There will be a raft of good news coming out of the USA as the VC investments of 2013/4 start coming online. I doubt staying in USD is the best strategy when the price will be trending up. PayPal have pretty much laid down the path of travel. They will be enabling Bitcoin globally. Actually, everyone apart from Apple will be offering non-credit card competition via Bitcoin in the coming year or two. The direction of travel is mostly going to be north, with the odd attempt to short for short term profits. it will take a while ... but eventually traders will close out their positions to bitcoin by default, i.e. take profits in bitcoin. |
