Highest bid on BIT is now 400 USD for a coin. And nobody is selling yet...
This does sound like good news, but there's a problem... As the Twitter message mentions, people that have held their 'shares' for 12 months or more can now sell. I cannot find how many BTC Grayscale holds, but it can never be a lot. This makes for a problem, as the volume can never be higher than the amount of shares/BTC that has been held for more than 12 months. This volume is probably not even 1% of the daily traded volume on current exchanges, which means at the moment this is still useless to institutional investors.

i wish i could buy .. i think i will try to buy a bunch (more than i did before anyways) when i can this summer. hopefully i will be able to. ...
Well, see, if you just stop buying when the price is high, you'd have money left to buy when the price is low. Seems obvious now that I've explained it so clearly, I know, but permabulls still fail to grasp it. i have done well buying dips, i caught the lows twice on my last three coin buys (the only buys that i kept the bitcoins for trading): 2x 180 (near the bottom before coinbase pump) 1x 250 (was chasing coinbase pump) 2x 218 (near bottom after coinbase pump) as can see chasing the price doesn't work as well as waiting for the dips. i still have those coins (sorta kinda) but they are tied up atm and i sorta planning to let them stay tied up where they are. thats why i need MOAR coins so I can trade again. problem for me is that i cannot buy until this summer.

I don't think so. Part of the condition of approving the fund was freezing those shares for 12 months. I'll bet a fair few paid a whole lot more than the current price so there's no particular reason to sell.

When we broke the uptrend on the 1w chart, I reversed my expectations from bullish to bearish. I agree with you that everything can happen. It the trend stay bearish and the pathner since the ATH continues, then we should see a new low at 100-120ish. In general and in the long term, I believe in Bitcoin, so I am always bullish on Bitcoin (atleast until something better comes, if ever), but since ATH, the market have been bearish and it could continue.
Wisest commonsense post of the month. Thumbsup

Even buyers at $400 will want a significant profit.

BIT is live. No shareholders are desperate to sell even for $315. Bullish?
Really, BIT is live?? Anyone can confirm? I'd expect to see a lot more market movement if it were true... Silbert confirmed on twitter. No ask orders yet. Watch it explode here: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/GBTC/quotehow many shares vs how many 'real' bitcoins in? is theer any transparent proof? or is it just another wallstreet hyped PONZI? ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) One share is 0,1 BTC. And yes, it's a ponzi ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) and you call them wall street 'professionals'? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Ft2.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AANd9GcTAQhaUaEJzJtR4DGKRqno993TneVoCfQXEE6YJq0FiwocpuB2luglND_MNlw&t=663&c=1NX4avavDbQf3g) like they raised the initial-unoficial-bitcoins @600-700$ or something? and all this for what? paper? here ima sell you 1 bitcoin paper for 2k. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) edit: fuck it cant stop laughting, like seriously, it stinks bitcoin amateurism, its even better than MK's gox coins, since their were stolen, sure, but they were nonetheless real! so much dramma bitcoinland. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
