So 480 is next, what do we do for 500 though!??!!!
keep buying more and wait for $1000, then sell out for 100% profits.

Lol that poor try of dumping. Some bears love to lose money.

That's why they're bears. Losing money is their raison d'etre.

nobody ever got broke taking profits...

Especially when you had a 60%+ profit run without margin in a very short time frame.....

It is stupid to not take profits. We have 90%+ Long... That's not a situation where markets stay stable over time.. But this forum is the wrong place for a rational discussion.

correct.

the problem is that they are human and then inevitably feel the need to get back on the train and buy back in at a loss.

I made that mistake, sold enough to pay for my original investment (Oh boy, everything is gravy now!) only to buy back in at a higher price because I realized that it was better to hold BTC than fiat.

I won't sell at $1000, or even $2000, unless I absolutely have to.

I agree. How about quadruple digits by Dec 1 as the high, less than 300 as the low?

It's not stupid, there are just different perspectives on this topic. Some see it as a thing you can trade online and make money with doing it, some see it as a horribly undervalued asset / long term investment.

blockchain is the wrapper, bitcoin is the payload.

payload has just been delivered to the heart and minds of the best and brightest inside the global financial system in technically unambiguous terms ... sit back and watch.

Hehe. Quoting for brilliance

Hmm, we only need to go up $10 per day to hit $1000 by 2016.

If we keep going up at this rate, it'll happen early next week.

And if the rate continues to increase as it has been, it could happen this Saturday.

The correction from that will give us whiplash.

True. If your aim is to accumulate fiat currency.

If your aim is to accumulate bitcoins, you want to keep your profits in Bitcoin.

Actually, have the whole of the 20th. Though I think it might be better all on one chart.

Cool. I saved a bunch of CB's greatest posts, including the Silk Road bust micro-crash and ensuing rebound that kick-started the autumn 2013 bubble.

Do you have an archive of all CB's posts? Will you share/sell/give what you've got? I'd PM you about this but others might be interested too.

 Huh
