Pro-tip: anyone in here not impossibly bullish is out to get your coins. Full stop.
To wit, I just got an email from my accountant, where he playfully chided me for being too bearish on my estimates for hitting $8k then $10k He also informed me he also accepts Bitcoin for accounting service payments now Reacharounds are still on the house, tho. talked to my CPA and edward jones advisor today in the same room...to say they are 'stunned' is an understatement.... I don't need the crypto or mining I'm doing to retire 'in the lovely lifestyle that I have now....on Dec 31st, 2017 I pull the trigger (got to keep the health insurance until Jan 1st, 2018 don't ya know from the job before the change. (job is gonna freak on notice Friday) thus, the main question from them...with crypto as a 'backstop' was how will I handle it when it goes Tulips? alas, they are still not on board, getting any....themselves progress though....by tulips...they see it dumping to 2-3k, so hey I will take what I can get...not going completely to zero eventually, fomo, will wear everyone down to getting crypto...especially if ETF's ever come to pass...

Is crypto dead? Completely lifeless. The only thing from here on out will be a horde of zombies holding some tulips.

I don't really see the Tulips in Bitcoin. Tulips were just complete fucking lunacy. Bitcoins are very different and the comparison barely holds as a meme.

For the tulip holders of the time, it must have been really tough keeping those super-expensive tulips healthy... They would have to water them regularly and protect them, and even feed them nutrients. Must have been really stressful for them. Is crypto dead? Yes, and I like it that way! See reply above. BTC is really just some numbers with rare properties, not something organic and alive, no need to water or feed your coins. A TREZOR does all the work. Just HoDL!

Expected correction after an unsustainable rise over the last few days. Nothing to worry about.

How many hodlers actually have less coins than they did four years ago? .
Corrections are a necessary evil, and whilst I hate seeing the value slashed, I don’t particularly worry about it.
In 2014, I was underwater by 60% and threw ‘good money after bad’... and bought some more Bitcoin and a bit of Monero (which was around 40 cents)!
Still waiting for the real dip.... muhahahaa (or weeeee x if I quote Gembitz)

If you had to pick one, which one would it be:1) Hold 3 BTC with the potential it being worth $100.000s or more in years time. You can spend it however you want but you cannot buy more BTC ever.*snip* 2) 20 Acres of Tulip fields. You can only use it to grow Tulips and sell them on in The Netherlands. Annual profit $25.000 but you don't have to do anything.*snip* 3) Have Emily Ratajkowski as your wife. Put up with her body and her shit for the rest of your life with no option for divorce, ever.*snip* 1) 3 BTC 2) Tulip fields 3) Emily Ratajkowski I'd go with 2. $25k annual guaranteed profit is pretty good. It's enough to live frugally and invest >10k a year into literally anything, including Bitcoin. So regardless of the crypto market, this will be a very easy and carefree life. The first option has the risk of losing everything and not being able to buy additional Bitcoin seems potentially bad in the offchance event that it becomes the dominant currency. And the last option? Don't give a shit about whoever that person is, never even heard of her and doesn't look my type. For the tulip holders of the time, it must have been really tough keeping those super-expensive tulips healthy... They would have to water them regularly and protect them, and even feed them nutrients. Must have been really stressful for them. Is crypto dead? Yes, and I like it that way! See reply above. Post it anyways? 1) 3 BTC 2) Tulip fields 3) Emily Ratajkowski Can you unpack option 3 a bit? How could I afford to keep her? By working your ass off and never hearing the end of it.
