Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Time machine this. The halvening is only 3 years away. How many of us will still be hodling their current stash?
I'll still be holding most of it. Maybe even more than I have today, depending upon the intervening volatility. I still hold the vast majority of what I had in 2011. Well, except that which I lost to scams.

If any of you have been dealing with someone using my account then you've been dealing with the pathetic scammer who hijacked it, not me. I haven't posted here for a couple of years but today I discovered that some loser's posting here, pretending to be me. Posts from about 2015 and before are me.

just read the best confirmed sources and look at the charts.
Fancy listing some of the 'best confirmed sources'? Mark T. Williams? Jorge Stolfi? Jamie Dimon? Where's kwukduck? He's gone to pick on the Monero thread. (Bullish for XMR!) Oh yeah, that's pretty hilarious. Monero has gone like 3x since he went to troll there a couple months ago.

Anyway, I see you have at least another 0.011 btc left, is suppose you could just repeat this with 0.01 the next year when btc reach 100k, and the year later with a mbtc for the 1m usd parity...
Oh wow. What a wonderful laugh, erre (no offense). Bitcoin will absolutely, certainly, and in the most confirmed way never, ever reach $100k, or even $50k or $25k (we are at its top more or less), and, I can't believe I even have to type these words, certainly not in "the next year". Not in the next year. Not in the next 2, 5, 10, 50, or 100 years. Not ever. You don't have to trust me on this, just read the best confirmed sources and look at the charts. It's very obvious, I'm sorry to say. I will absolutely offer 0.01 BTC to whomever first quotes this message (erre excluded). If bitcoin touches $100k USD $25k on any major exchange (GDAX, stamp, finex, kraken) at anytime within the next 365 days, and not through some silly glitch, then the first person to quote this will receive 0.01 BTC. My last offer did carry some risk that I was aware of, of course, since it's always possible for silly and irrelevant gyrations (which the current prices are). I obviously got burned by these irrelevant aftershocks. This offer is confirmed to be on my side (and that's not putting it nearly strong enough). Bitcoin poetry at its finest. Cheers guys: Can someone photoshop this please?

As a side note, eventually your bitcoin wealth becomes so great, that you can't not continue to hold it. Unless you really enjoy giving half your bitcoin net worth to the tax authorities. Which anyone who is self-made or builds wealth will tell you is idiotic.
Hm. If the Capital gains tax rate is 20% then no matter what the profit the tax will still only be 20% of it. C Yeah, I was exaggerating a little. But even 20% sux. Just giving the govt money that they didn't risk anything for, didn't earn and don't deserve to steal from you. "You didn't build that" - B Obama

I bet there are many new people going into crypto (mostly with small amounts I admit)
The BCT Bitcoin Discussion one day page count index is indicating new large influx.

You better be prepared to wait because it could take a couple of hours While by far the biggest drop I've bought the top of, it's not the first. That was last week when we dropped back below 10k.that took a whole day! If it does keep falling i can sell a loss (about 2 bucks right now...) then but back lower.
