If we can keep from bubbling up, we might make it to $50k-$60k before crashing to somewhere higher than we are now.
This sounds horrible. I'll take a rise to 50k. I've got predefined sell points, so I'd take some off the table at those levels. I've been meaning to set predefined sell points. Haven't got around to it yet.

Yeah, no doubt you had a good rebuy opportunity, even right now. But calling 3k after it was weird
I seem to recall TERA being much derided during the 2013 bubbliness for making v bearish calls. History shows vindication with knobs on. Everyone was screaming that another bubble was around the corner, but not TERA, she called it correctly!

Damn, this is so f"-ing bullish. Any idea from where all this money comes from?? Because from all these trades on the exchanges, there seems to be a shortage.

You can sell naked calls without the underlying asset with enough collateral / capital.
Naked calls on bitcoin? Define “enough collateral”. 20% of the nominal value? The way I understand the rules, there's a daily +/- 20% hard limit before trading stops, and the positions are regulated daily.

Not sure what happens in the overnight market.

Venezuela to launch a state sanctioned cryptocurrency to evade US sanctions. Not sure what this means for Bitcoin but this would definitely be the first state run crypto. My sense is that this is a further step towards validation. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-42217798

Isn’t it about time for someone to say bitcoin is coiling for another strike?

Bitcoin is coiling for another strike?
Good. Now I say “It feels like we are still some distance from a new ATH. We just aren’t mentally ready.”

But we can probably expect some consolidation around moving averages before testing resistances.

Gotta love this. It corrects down by $1.3k and bounces right back up by $1.15k all within a few short hours. Less than a year ago we were only dreaming of reaching 4 figures. Now a grand is a couple of hours' swing. A year ago, $50 was a "leg up". Now it's the spread between a high bid and a low ask. It's a whole new ball game. Pity the luddites and dinosaurs who are stuck in 2013 thinking and TA. They're just wallowing deeper into the tar pits. Keep up or get left behind.

Youre right that now $50 is the slippage on Bitstamp. But one year ago we were already at 4 figures. Actually we reached 4 figures 4 years ago.
