Well , in term of number of transactions , we're back to 2012 ... cimpochi to the rescue?  Not surprising. More anecdotes: At these exchange rates, folks are not spending them and so almost all my orders are USD. The BTC buys less silver now than they used to. Had a lot of orders when BTC was >110, more than I could take and clear so I had to limit the BTC sales. Now it is all USD. The latest Bitcoin software v0.8.3 disincentivizes the number of micro-transactions. This stat is likely influenced by that change. In what way it achieves that? |

I hope we get some decent action/volume tonight. All this hovering 'stability' around charted territory isn't helping progression or long term recovery, things need to get worse before they get better. The sooner they get worse the less people get burned. Help yourselves by helping bitcoin  |

Volatility is great for a deflating bubble, a quick sharp deflation is much better for the market than a steady long slide, not only do we lose investors but recovery is so much longer. At almost all other times large volatility is really bad for bitcoin. |
